    Morning all.

Had been reading and running. Sorry.

Thanks for the thread pigpen and hope to see you posting again soon x x

Well, OH is marshalling a race in London today. He left at 5.30am and is due back at 3/3.30pm. The house is a complete tip and he has invited one of his work colleagues over for 4pm. A little 'discussion' was had last night about the expectation that I am going to spend bank holiday cleaning and tidying! Anyway he unloaded and loaded the dw this morning so not feeling quite as angry so I will probably relent and do it all!!

Had a lovely day at Woburn yesterday with the kiddies.forced OH to do a day trip as it is the only day he is free over the weekends and half term! We also had an impromptu bbq with friends on Saturday- another reason why the house is so trashed!!!!

Anyway, let's have a look at a list....

Magnificent Monday - Kitchen and dining room

    Clear and wipe worksurfaces
Scrub down the front of units and large appliances and kickboards
    Wipe and replace small appliances
    Clean oven and hob!
Wipe the table and chairs... clean cloth if necessary
    Sweep and mop the floor

    Terrible Tuesday ~ Master bedroom

strip the bedding and get it washed.. air the duvet
Mattress vacuumed turned vacuumed other side and redress bed
    Deal with the floordrobe
    Vacuum floors
Dust and deweb.. inc bed frame!!

    Extras
    Sort out hats
    Wipe hand rails on stairs

    Wm x2
    Dw
    Wudupa
    Water plants
    Buy christening food.
    Order christening balloons
    Clear and Hoover stairs
Take out rubbish (normal, food and recycling!)
    Tidy living room
    Hhi

    Kiddies are playing so beautifully.
Ds2 slept in the car on the way home yesterday so was still awake at 9.30pm!!!! It has meant that he didn't wake up until 9.30 this morning!!!!! (That never happens!)
But ds1 and ds2 are happily playing in minecraft together (how long before they have a falling out!) and de is laying on her mat watching them!!! I should crack on but enjoying the peace!!!! Lol!

My extra prep last week means I'm already more than half way through order sorting in just over 2 hours :j I may start doing this every time. Just stopping to have a coffee and something to eat as my tummy is rumbling.

DD has already text to say she's on her way home via her dads and that was over an hour ago. By the time I've finished this work she'll probably be nearly home without her keys so no chance of a bath before she gets back after all as I can't abandon this work to have one since it's taken over the livingroom and the plan was to have it done before she got home :( Might jump in the shower when she's finished talking at me about the weekend instead, after spending yesterday full on hyper and texting me loads of photos I know she'll talk about it all fast and loud and get worked up all over again and I'll struggle to understand it all. Taking a shower will give my brain a break :rotfl::rotfl: I also suspect Ex will be going home and having a large alcoholic drink as I know I would:rotfl::rotfl:

WM has just finished a boiling clean wash so I'm going to air that and get on with work as I'm up to the more awkward ones that aren't completely sorted.

I have got to the bottom of the ironing basket.
DD has informed me what D S was up to in the wee smalls but I heard nothing. There's a reason I have three smoke alarms...I could sleep on a penny hang! DS is now in a better mood so I am hopeful that room clearing, cleaning and tidying will happen. I am also (usually) an incurable optimist.
Two loads on the line so there will be more ironing for me later.

    Good Afternoon all,

I am in again, thank you for the list Pigpen and hope to see you continuing to post xx

Well, we have had a lovely BH weekend so far with friends and family. Lots of lovely food and wine enjoyed, as well as some walks and general garden fun. As a consequence my head is a little sore today (not helped by DS waking up four times last night) and the house is a dump. So far today we have:

    - Pegged a washload out and put our bedding in to wash
    - DH has been to the tip and is assembling the kiddies outdoor plastic house thing
    - DW loaded, unloaded, reloaded
    - Vacc'd hall
    - Built loads of Duplo up with kiddies and refereed a thousand arguments lol

Had a lovely chat with a close member of family last night who has offered to have DS for an hour or so a week so me and DD can do something nice together. DD starts school in September and, having been lucky enough to be at home with her since she was born, I am really going to miss her.

Right, I need a brew then will crack on with the list. Have lovely days all, back later xx

Hugs good wishes and posi vibes to all who need/want them.
Been boot this morning and bought some plants, lupin, bleeding heart, lavender and candytuft, so garden should look ok once they are in. Got a blind for DS2 so Dh has put it up ready for when we swap his room over. New bench was delivered and is looking good.
I'm full of cold and auntie flo is here so I feel grotty. Bonus is that tomorrow's blood test is sort of catching me at my worst in ages. Got DGS a booster seat so the high chair can go as its just too bulky and takes so much space up.
Going to make food then sit and sniff with my knitting.

Have a good bank holiday all.

I'm doing a mix today; done some of a report and some gardening. House-flying hasn't featured very strongly yet. Our garden list seems to get longer by the minute despite our attempts to do what is on the list and not get sidetracked. A lady pheasant just walked across our patio followed by 2 tiny fluffy chicks!

I'm allowing myself the luxury (and distraction) of listening to music while doing a report. Mr N's cousin, by a casual recommendation on FB has just got me exploring bluegrass/hillbilly bands who do rock/metal covers. Amazing in some cases; hysterically funny in others. Currently I'm jaw dropped listening to Poison (originally Alice Cooper) by Hayseed Dixie.

    Turning up earlier this week!

Have decluttered blood for tests at the hospital.

Came home and had a three hour nap.

Anyone who was worrying that I am overdoing it can relax.

Will just be waving from the sidelines this week.

Laundry all done, some more bits of kibble bagged up for CS run tomorrow including a huge bag of Megablocks, hurrah! Easy dinner of HM chilli for tea (already made so minimal effort needed)

Looking forward to Corrie and an early night x
