Store Refund Policy

If you believe you have the right to return them then assert your rights.
This is the next article you need to read:]MSE's Small Claims Court guide.
You do not have to convince anyone on a forum.
Before going to Small Claims, I need to follow the Complaints procedure. I think there is a good section on that on moneysavingexpert too, albeit it's missing the mediation step. I have been agonising over the format of the complaint letter. Hence my questions on this forum regarding my rights in terms of faulty goods and return policy. I'm not trying to convince anyone, just to figure out my rights so that my complaint letter will be so forceful that the store will agree to refund without the hassle of court action.
Thanks to the advice on this forum, I think I need to make two arguments in the letter. Firstly the right to return in accordance with the in-store return policy. Secondly, the right to refund the bundle containing a damaged item under the Consumer Rights Act0 -

Well seeing by the amount of threads that get started here about hundreds of companies it seems this is not the case. I think it's a case of you just want to think/believe that to support your current problem.0 -
Okay WHAT IS THE STORE?
You keep hedging round only sells cosmetics in the other thread it was mainly cosmetics.
The only two I can think of are The Body Shop and SpaceNK, both sell nothing but cosmetics. The others are the middle of the mall type outfits.
Also WHAT ARE THE BUNDLES you keep on about. Neither store mentioned about sell BUNDLES. Do you mean you bought complete sets of skincare/cosmetics what? I have never came across the term BUNDLE when buying skincare/cosmetics/perfume.
As for the Small Claims Court. In the other thread you stated one item had damaged packaging. You wanted to return everything because of this. Members told you to return it and get a replacement, but you have buyers regret and want to return everything for a full refund. Some of the so called bundles are actually free so I will say Gift With Purchase. Are you will to pay to go to the Small Claims Court is it £50 and lose it and your case?0 -

I wonder if it is one of those high pressured sales cosmetics outlets that are allowed to pop up in stores like Debenhams etc. There have been threads on here before where they offer a bundle of overpriced items if you buy them together.
OP, cosmetics are usually not refundable in most stores. However stores like Boots who have have this policy, will give full refunds if the cosmetics cause an allergic reaction.0 -

Yes it is a high-pressure outlet. This company has many complaints on the internet. Apologies for being coy, but these are not nice people and they monitor the internet. If they spot their name in thiis thread it may prejudice my case. I will name and shame after I have submitted my claim.
The company web site is 100% cosmetics, but I'm not certain about the store. I didn't see any non-cosmetics there, but the Returns Policy in the OP is worded as if there are.
Yes, you guessed right. The "bundle" contains one or more hugely expensive items and several "free" gifts. I started another thread to confirm what are my rights if one item in the bundle is faulty. The final opinion is that I am entitled to a refund on the bundle containing the faulty items, but not for other items bought in the same visit.
Regarding the Returns Policy, I started this thread to confirm what are my rights. The learned members confirmed that the store must comply with its published policy.
It is interesting that there are several dissenting views on this basic aspect of Consumer Rights. My thanks especially to unholyangel and wealdroam for cutting through the complexity.0 -
OP said earlier which I can't find its Orogold, one of those Gold skincare companies that set up pop up shops with insanely overpriced skincare. We've had 2/3 threads on them in the past.,It seems to be deleted...
There's no price on the receipt cos there is no price. It's whatever they can get you to pay.0 -

Here is a previous thread from a while ago, but it is a shame that the OP from that thread did not come back and update for the benefit of others.

I think it was hollidays that suggested it might be Orogold.
The OP denied it was Orogold.
Several posts have been deleted.0 -

the other threads I can recall have been about Tresor Rare and an American brand that used wine (had Vin-something in its name)
The common denominator seemed to be using high- pressure sales techniques to "upsell" multiple products.0
