House sold a lot of times over the years, should i be worried?

From the photo, it looks like an entire row of terraced houses overlook the back garden? I have been put off by that when stepping into the back garden and feeling uncomfortable like the garden is a goldfish bowl.To err is human, but it is against company policy.0 -
I'd ask them why they are selling and what the neighbours are like, etc.
The house next door to my mum has sold seven or eight times in the last 16 years, no idea why as it's a lovely house on a quiet street. No one else in the street has moved in that time. But maybe it's couples splitting up, wanting to upsize, downsize, re-locate. Who knows.0 -

I know what your saying, I would say 2 out of the 4 detached homes would overlook.
I've been round countless new build estate and they are always overlooked so that's something I can live with I suppose.0 -
If it is an older couple, perhaps they have health problems? You can but ask...
Actually, that happened when we bought our last house. Couple were elderly and had moved to be near their daughter. Within 12 months they had decided they should have bought a bungalow as the lady had arthritis and was having difficulty using the stairs which was only going to get worse.
They did buy a bungalow - but we suspect they moved on quicker than they planned as the house was not as finished as they had first thought when viewing. After the first winter we had all the draughty single glazed windows replaced, it was on our list as we didn't like the style, but I doubt they had planned on having any work done, they were looking for easy retirement.0 -
The 3 sales in quick succession happened ten years ago - anything could have happened in the intervening decade.
The current owners could be divorcing or relocating.

There are a number of checks you can and should do anyway as a matter of course. Among these is a neighbourhood check.
Visit the street on several occasions at different times of the day (and night). CHeck the schools out, check the crime stats for the area, check the flood risks etc. Visit local shops, pubs etc.
If you are still unsure you can hire a private detective to do the job for you. Prices start at around £200 for a basic neighbourhood check but frankly if you have live fairly nearby and have the time you can do it yourself.
As others have said the three quick sales happened a decade ago so I don't think there can be any serious problems.0
