It's looking bad, so now is probably the time to be ready to shift some of my euro earnings into sterling, based on the theory that once It stops getting worse, it'll probably start getting better.
Either that or put a large bet on a president with weird hair this time next week.“What means that trump?” Timon of Athens by William Shakespeare0 -

Beaker? Thank goodness, thought it was going to be Trump or Clinton!
Beaker had better hair.
I see enda has declared there will be no hard border. What if Brussels forbids member states from making individual deals with Britain? Work visas for southerners in London? Presumably.“What means that trump?” Timon of Athens by William Shakespeare0 -

I was thinking that the other day. It would be v hard to for Ireland to agree anything with the UK thats not a Europe wide policy.
And likewise for people commuting from the UK mainland to Dublin. I have a few contractor friends who do that.
Interesting times....0 -
Forget about London - that would also mean they'd need a visa to work here. This is going to be tricky.“What means that trump?” Timon of Athens by William Shakespeare0

I read that if the Brexit referendum was mapped out on a FPTP election, the Brexit party would have a parliamentary majority of 196 seats.0 -
If that's so, then there's probably a good case for holding a general election now, where candidates will have to declare their eu opinion beforehand. I wonder how that would work for candidate selection.“What means that trump?” Timon of Athens by William Shakespeare0
