harveybobbles - that's good to know. I've heard bad things about the 1.9 diesel Vectra in particular. Is the 3.0 V6 actually more reliable, or is it just that any issues with the 4-cyl engines are exaggerated by the fact that there are so many more of them around?

WIG and board.....just reporting back, bought a BMW 320d 2005 at Bruntingthorpe, after attending Derby the day before, definitely worthwile, even though additional hassle of taking it back to NI, saved around £2000.

Learnt a lot from chatting fellow NI bidders, mostly dealers at Derby, missed a few I should have gone for.....car I got wasn't first choice, but a better selection than at Derby.

Would certainly do again!

Help!

I've paid the £15 to view Auction View but have just realized that i can't see the prices!

Could someone please have a look how much the vectra 1.9 cdti elite or sri have been going for recently please. I'm looking for the newer shape (55 plate onwards) with less then 60k on the clock.

Typical, there is one that ticks all the boxes, but it's being auctioned in Edinburgh!

Have to wait and see if something comes up closer to home next week i guess.
