Many thanks!:rotfl:
Amazing how top-end stuff like this is weakening but one has the readies it's an opportunity... at least that's the way I look at it.
Shall advise on sartorial dress code when I know what's been washed! :-)
Work committments mean that I couldn't get along to this one. Was wearing a natty blue suit all that day however!0 -
hi, i am looking to buy a car from auction and was wondering how much it goes for and what charges are there.
BMW 5 series M-sport
diesel
model: 520d, 525d
colour: black
year: 2005 onwards
Miles: under 60 k
transmission: automatic
thank you0 -
A BMW's with M Sport on it will make over its book value as this is deemed to be the "ultimate" model from a retail point of view.
I'm often outbid on them at auction, but they usually carry on and on and on way after I've stopped...!0 -
thanks for your help,
so would it be better if i buy privately rather than from auctions.0 -
Hi Danny

Hiya
Have only just stumbled upon this thread and don't know if it's the sort of thing you can help with - eveyone else seems to be looking to spend much more money than me!
Bit of background, DD1 is coming up 17 and as I have a Alhambra and OH drives an automatic, if she is going to have any practice outsie driving lessons she needs to buy a little runaround.
I am of the opinion that she should spend up to £1.5k so that she can insure it TPFT only and her criteria is that it's black (VERY important  ) and cheap to run and insure. Her preferred cars are Renault Clio's (S reg onwards) or Peugeot 206's. She did want a KA but someone has put us off these saying they aren't that safe in an accident (and he was a paramedic).
We live about 25 mins from Blackbushe and I naively assumed I could just log on to the site and search but it seems I need to spend money or set myself up as a car trader lol!
Can I just say in advance that I promise to thank everyone who can give me any advice and will let you know what happens - ideally we'd like to buy within the next two - three weeks.
Thanks in advance.
