Anyway, Tesco doesn't need an apostrophe...
... and what's "naer"?

Our Tesco Extra does not do contactless, so seeing an online list I rang their cs for clarification.
I was told that it has been generally installed at Express stores and is now being started for all London stores, followed by large cities such as Manchester and Birmingham, with all expected to be completed by the end of the year.0 -
I do like the irony that contactless rollout is furthest ahead in the areas where you are most likely to have your wallet half-inched.djpailo wrote:Did anyone else get less than £5 for the month May contractless spending, (given in June)?
My contactless bonus was £5 for May, as it has been every month since I got the card. They're normally good as gold - the only thing I can think of is that less than £100 were uninterrupted contactless payments (perhaps you attempted to spend more than £100, but when discounting the occasions where you had to enter your pin, you actually dipped below it?).
Though for the first time I only just met £100 spending. I'm trying to use my current account at Tesco, my "join to switch" bank, as normally as possible. Partly because a few extra clubcard points is better than nothing. Partly because the more normally I use my existing accounts (1 current, 1 flexible savings), the more likely that they will continue to accept my applications for current accounts which will inevitably be switched.0 -
£30 limit for contactless so 4x
Some have more than one card/ account.
I think 6 for a couple 2 each 2 joint when launched.
£600 spend needed.
Edit. IF anybody has problems gaining their 5% cashback can they post me their card and pin number. (joke)
diy project!
Buy b&q vouchers at morries say £100 contactlessly = 5% cash back 10p off a litre at morries pump and shop at b&q with the vouchers. Gain morries more points for fuel take an oap with a oap card on wednesday another 10% off B&Q.
Of course you'd need to do the contactles purchase of £100 in transaction under £30 - so 3 x £30 + 1 x £10. You would then have 3 x 3p off vouchers and 1 x 1p off vouchers. This totals 10p off a litre of fuel but are the fuel vouchers stackable or would you need to use them each on seperate transactions?0 -

Note that Morrisons are changing their gift card reward scheme. From 11 July you will not get the X pence off a litre coupons, but instead you'll get "More" points (worth less than the fuel discount, if you buy full tanks)
Fuel coupons earned before 11 July are valid until the date printed on them and they are stackable, so you can use several on one fuel purchase.
And it's a B&Q Diamond Club card, not an OAP card, you cheeky young whippersnapper, available to anybody over 60.0 -
Someone in this thread mentioned buying Amazon gift cards contactlessly. Is this possible at Morrisons? I didn't see Amazon as a stocked gift card on the fuelsaver website...0

I don't understand this whole thread. It can only be maximised up to a spend of £100 per month. Personally, I use my card contactless in Tesco twice and that's my 100 quid done. Why would I want to mess about buying vouchers?
Contactless is up to £30 each time so would be at least three times.
Although Tescos don't offer contactless in all stores.
Buying vouchers means you dont have to use them on food shopping, you could use them on anything that the voucher is for, could be the cinema, or iTunes, or as I do Amazon, for anything under the sun.
I then also get fuel vouchers from Morrisons, which allow me to get discount of fuel which I pay with contactless.
All my vouchers are valid for 10 years and I get the £5 back each month.
I am going to use my vouchers for christmas, This way Im not spending money in a supermarket just to get to £100, on food Ill waste or is more expensive just to meet the total.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Banking & Borrowing, and Reduce Debt & Boost Income boards. Yes it was me, and yes I pay contactless, then get the fuel voucher, fill up my car on the way out and use contactless again for the fuel.
I have found that Amazon are now using their multipack vouchers rather then £10 and £25 ones, but thats okay as I buy the £30 ones, and then £25, then my little bit of shopping.
