Do Morrisons petrol stations limit contactless payments to £30?

    Cheers

One of the frustrating things about trying to use the TSB cards contactlessly is not knowing whether it's going to work or whether it's going to demand the PIN to be entered. I can fully understand the reasoning but does make it inconvenient and/or embarrassing, especially in outlets such as Costa when you end up holding up the queue as you try each one of 3 TSB cards only to end up paying with cash....

(and when is Tesco going to get its act together and go contactless in its shops and garages?)

Probably next January - just after TSB stops their offer.

This is fine if you live close to a reasonbly priced shop (or any shop in fact). If you have to make a special trip then it really works out as an expensive, and time-consuming, way of doing things.
Fair enough, I guess I am a bit spoiled for convenience where I live. If I had to make a big drive to a supermarket then I doubt I would want to do it more than once per week.

I use contactless all the time in both the Tesco Express in Manchester city centre and the huge Tesco superstore near where I live, so it seems to have "got its act together" already.
None of the Tesco's near me offer contactless payment.

Morrisons petrol and shop have a limit of £30 for contactless as per other shops.

I have three local Tescos' one express and two superstores and none of them accept contactless, so maybe the ones that do, are piloting the scheme as its not got as far as where I am.

    Viz top tip:

Move house. It'll save you a fiver a month.

Almost as helpfully, I *believe* my local Tesco brought in contactless when they did a major refurbishment a couple of years back. Could be linked to that?

I noticed yesterday that Wetherspoons takes contactless. Progress at last, for those of us who drink in the cheap end of life's pond.
