Is it in your name in the V5 document? I don't know with Motability but others will.

I will come back later to the VRN V letter.

Hi, Yes, it asked to punch in the reg number, and done correctly, it was so empty it was parked right next to the machine so not much room for error.
    The first was
Date of event 02-05-2016, date issued 11-05-2016
    Second was
    DOE 04-05-2016 Date issued 11-05-2016
    Third was
DOE 05-05-2016 date of issue 11-05-2016

Read the newbie section still can't see how I'm going to fight it, grace periods with over stays but a charge for a ticket I've already bought but not retained.
Thank you for your answers so far.

Initial appeals as per the NEWBIES thread. Copy and paste 3 times and send them off ensuring you don't edit them, or miss the appeal deadline. Make sure you take a screen shot of each appeal. Make sure you enter the correct PCN number on each appeal in the title and text. That buys you time to research the next bit.

Second stage appeal (PoPLA) to include appeal points including but not limited to: -
    Not the landowner,
No standing to bring charges in their own name,
    Inadequate signage,
Non POFA compliant NTKs for tickets 1 and 2 (didn't arrive within 14 days from the day after the event.) Possible other non compliant issues that will help with these two plus ticket 3.

Post redacted copies of the PCNs here for the experts to look at. Upload to a webhosting site such as Tinypic or Photobucket then paste the URL here but change http to hxxp. Someone will then change them back to a live link. Don't forget to redact all personal information.

Also remember that all the appeals must be in your OH's name as registered keeper, or in your name as keeper (on the day in question.) Never mention who was driving.

Hi, no I am just the registered driver, it is my other half that who's name is on the V5 and it is that name that the PCN came under

Right well there are ways to fight this and it seems Northlakes will be able to help with some local info. Sounds like the keyboard is faulty.
How the heck am I going to appeal £180 quids worth of charges

YOU are not going to appeal, the named keeper (your other half) is - either that, or you can do it but all in your OH's name throughout. Not having the tickets is not a problem. Even if you had them then that sort of argument would not have helped you at POPLA.

Every private PCN from a BPA member firm can be appealed and potentially won at POPLA so please don't think this is only something people can fight if there was an overstay. DO NOT Look at the 14 days 'discount'. Forget that £60 a pop 'OFFER'!!

You have 28 days at this stage to appeal so wait for whatever Northlakes reveals; you have PLENTY of time (you will get a reminder from PE; file it away and be ready to appeal in the name of the keeper). You should re-read the NEWBIES thread and stop looking for specific stuff about your situation because the process is the same for all appeals here - and Northlakes looks like he might be able to give you the specifics you'll need later at POPLA stage.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

This is what POFA 2012 states,

    (4) The notice must be given by—
    .

    (a) handing it to the keeper, or leaving it at a current address for service for the keeper, within the relevant period; or
    .

    (b) sending it by post to a current address for service for the keeper so that it is delivered to that address within the relevant period.

    (5) The relevant period for the purposes of sub-paragraph (4) is the period of 14 days beginning with the day after that on which the specified period of parking ended.
    .

    (6) A notice sent by post is to be presumed, unless the contrary is proved, to have been delivered (and so “given” for the purposes of sub-paragraph (4)) on the second working day after the day on which it is posted; and for this purpose “working day” means any day other than a Saturday, Sunday or a public holiday in England and Wales.

The first PCN is delivered on 19 days after the day after the parking event.
The second PCN is 17 days.
The third PCN is 16 days.

The OP in the thread below from PePiPoo won their POPLA appeal last month for 2 PCN's at this car park (Pleasure Land Morecambe). The winning point was that the copy of the contract provided by PE was of such poor quality its contents could not be read.

update, I have since found two of the parking tickets, one is half printed the other is for an hour so I am now thinking they have turned into overstays as payment is for one hour (feels slightly embarrassed, but trying to be honest),
apologies I hope I have not wasted anyones time
    kindest regards

Why the question earlier about a V?

(Reason I ask is that mine also has a V - well 2 actually - and I used airport parking at Edinburgh recently. When I tried to exit the machine wouldn't recognise the ticket; on checking closer I noticed that the ANPR camera had recorded one V as a Y).
