Oh, I never said they were any good at covering up their tricks. They've shown themselves to be pretty incompetent all round

True dat. If you trusted them with your conveyancing you'd probably finish up living in a dumpster.

90%? More like at least 99.75%!!! There were about 4000 stayed POPKA appeals passed to WH. I don't think that we have seen even 10 cases on the forums.

I have one of the stayed cases with WH and got my extra evidence letter over a month ago. It was such a farce because they sent it with about a day left on their "timescale" for action but I emailed them back. Still not heard anything back from them, but I guess mine might be a winner because I think I would have heard by now seeing people are starting to get their failures through.

UKPC sent such poor evidence for mine though, no contract and just a print out of a sign done in something like powerpoint, I wonder if the delay is because WH have done something similar re extra evidence. Not bothered either way as I will go all the way to court if it ever gets that far.

    Wright Hassall are a farce.

What you need to know now, is the delay because they (as said by dazster) ... could be using clandestine "coaching" of the operator to provide more and better evidence.

Bring this to the attention of the ISPA and the Parking Prankster

Thanks will see what happens, if this is the case then I still have the original evidence pack that UKPC sent before I did my rebuttal so it will become very evident if this was the case.

I haven't heard from Nicola since my last email. BUT Wright Hassall have since allowed my other appeal (the one that the dodgy letter to the PPC is about) on the same grounds of providing no evidence to suggest they have a legal right to manage the site.

I have forwarded the email body plus some more lines to Nicola Mullany. I also mentioned that its clear Wright Hassall had my email address (as I'm sure they do with most other appellants) - WHY then, are appellants receiving their request for further evidence letters via snail mail and only given a few days to respond (if at all because the letters have been lost or not sent at all, like in my case!) when PPCs are getting the full 7 days if they open their email when it arrives,

I also told her that Wright Hassall had not responded to my email when I asked them why I had not received any letters from them. Also, my request to want to submit further evidence was ignored entirely.

    And so it continues...

Very frustrating. Very much hope that Nicola Mullany does something about this (including telling HMG that the BPA cannot be trusted to run an appeals service).

    Response from Nicola Mullany-
I have looked into the concerns you raised in your initial email. I can confirm our independent assessors have seen evidence of specific information being requested from appellants. As such I don't think the request for specific evidence from the operator in your case is evidence of bias. (yeah, that's if they even bother to send a letter out at all)

I note your comments about time to respond and will take these to our next board meeting.

Thank you for bringing your concerns to ISPA and especially for updating me.

I guess it's fine for PPCs to get the chance to provide specific evidence ... as long as the appellant gets the opportunity to rebut it before the case is assessed. However I suspect that this is not the case.

How long is it taking from the WH evidence letter to their final adjudication? It will be 6 weeks on Wednesday since I sent mine?
