Thought l will start a thread about renewals this year. Did you renew online or by phone? How long did it take for it to update? Did you receive a text or email confirmation after you renewed online? How long after your renewal?

1st time renewing online, very simple, HMRC have e-chat service if required to question new amount. (2 mins online upto8-10 weeks for completion)

Very simple t.b.h, with M.S I detest tying to fill in paperwork.

I personally think of online as stress free and take as much time as required.

    I didn't receive a text or e-mail t.b.h though easily checked via https://www.gov.uk/manage-your-tax-credits:cool:

Could be. Depends on your specific renewal.

Completed my renewal online 24th May. Got a text acknowledging receipt on 25th May. Had an extra payment in my bank a few days later. Received my final tax credit letter and award for this year dated 26th May ! Amazing turn around.
