Tax Credit Renewals 16/17

Thought l will start a thread about renewals this year. Did you renew online or by phone? How long did it take for it to update? Did you receive a text or email confirmation after you renewed online? How long after your renewal?

There is already a renewal thread.

I renewed by phone on 5th May.

Got a text the next day saying it was received.

Looking at my account online it hasn't updated as yet.

I've still not had my renewal pack yet.

I had my renewal pack last week, gave my actual income from P60 online that evening, had a random payment yesterday so guessing they've looked at mine already.
I've always found them to be pretty speedy, but I don't have childcare and am employed so maybe it's easy to process my award.
My usual weekly payment isn't due until tomorrow so don't know what my regular amount will be yet.

i have just received th renewal pack,can i put partners self employed income online?.They already have my income for the year.

Received the renewal yesterday and I tried to renew online but gave up so I called. The lady updating it said I'd probably run into problems because they use real time info, but I work from home, so I have to deduct expenses from my income, which means my actual income is lower than the one they are using. I can see more fun an games with Concentrix in the months to come No text yet, and if they do refer me to Concentrix, again, it won't be finalised for months.

Not had my renewal pack yet, hoping not to have to go through the whole Concentrix thing like last year again.

I've not had mine yet either and I went through concentric last year and got my renewal April it took 10 weeks I tbj know.

So let's hope not having yet is good news !!

Who is this company what do they check, I thought everything is checked each yr by hmrc.
