Spa Day Cannot think of anything worse.
Make Over &/or Photoshoot Just did think of something worse than a Spa Day..
Cat stuff Our dog doesn't need it...
77 Day Cruise I saw a competition a couple of weeks ago which was for this amazing cruise but it was like 77 days and it wasn't transferrable, so you had to make sure that you would be available.. 77 days!! Apart from work, I think our dog would forget us being in kennels that long and the bill would probably bankrupt us...
Gym Membership ...June 2016 Wins: £64 Argos Voucher :j July 2016 Wins: £25 Cash :j0 -
Prizes I don't want to win...
Food; (meaning anything from a hamper to a meal out or various chocolate type prizes) I have an eating disorder and it's very rare I either want the food being offered or will require that much food in one sitting (I don't have a large family to feed).
Holidays away to foreign far off places (namely for the same reasons as the above- food is an issue but also because these prizes never cover things like flights, spending money or a hotel above a 2* rating. I've heard and read too many horror stories from others who have actually "won" these and ended up financially poorer as a result!)
Entry for running events. Due to previous injury I've been told by medics to not run on concrete again. But seriously; since when did you need to pay to be able to run? Think the words of the song go #They paid paradise, put up a parking lot. Prizes which involve a night out. (Because if it doesn't rain/end up very cold, then I will end up ill on that very night and it will be ruined for me).
An oven.
A hoover.
A sofa. (In fact most house hold furniture items; I'm happy enough with what I have, most is 15 years and still going strong and I dislike throwing away things that still work just because I've won something new.)
A TV. (Because I refuse to pay for a license as it's too expensive. So I have to go without a TV as a result).
A playstation, X-Box, Wiii or any other game console. Computer games are lost on me. I'd prefer a colouring in book and a (free) run at a gym!
Prizes I would like to win (that others on the thread have said they wouldn't!) Gym membership. (Just as long as it isn't with Fitness First or LA Fitness who have on my last visits needed help with their hygiene.) Goody-bags. (Just as long as the content is worth more than £100 and the value isn't wasted on food or protein shakes).
Vouchers, money/cheques and paid for shopping sprees are normally things I'd try to win. But only if the value is above £300 and ideally £500 at a minimum for more commonly entered competitions. I know that every time I try to win something and give away my details; I expect an amount of spam back and I usually wont give away my details unless the amount and chance of winning is enough compensate.0 -
Can I add to my list....
A Fish Slice!!!!Debbie0 -
Family Holidays for 4 - As there are 5 of us & our little darlings are thumping great teenagers.
Wedding essentials - I've been married for some years now, and currently all my young cousins are quite contentedly either playing or in sin. Noone ever offers a Whopping Family Party Without Nuptials as a prize...
Days out at funfairs - two of the five of us get violently sick, so I'd be being a Bad Mother if I sloped off to ride the Waltzers even with a couple of lads.
Pet stuff - I keep boys - they are pricey enough to run & much harder to insure. I *might* make a sister happy with a pallet of dog food but hers are picky eaters.
Gym membership - *if* I want to be caught in public sweating & dropping weights on myself, & generally being a hazard to society, I go into the garden & weed for a bit. The feeling goes away. (So does some bindweed, but I get muddy, back achy & generally in dire need of tea.)
Custom bathroom - had one fitted a few years back, still working fine & anyway bet it won't have the 3 sinks & the 6'ers delight bathtub. One sister in a rented flat, another also content.
Custom kitchen - not without either Relate or a darned good divorce lawyer as himself's idea of the ideal & mine are two different structures. Sisters sorted, sister in law possibly vilely offended by suggestion. (No, I would not deny a comper who *wanted* a kitchen the chance just to annoy her, but I may daydream.)
Spa day - definitely not for me. The folk who see me that lightly clad are my husband and the appropriate medical professionals. (Even Customs searching you don't strip you that completely.) Another prize I'd want to win only to watch the recipient writhe like a snake on a griddle.
Any & all games consoles - I have an unstabilised epileptic for whom these things are catnip with bonus seizures...
Would love to win:
Any denomination supermarket vouchers (but do pretty well with info on Deals, thank you all at MS Towers!)
Sidesaddle lessons for Any Weight (I appreciate sidesaddles are expensive, but I do not see why you have to be near anorexic to be allowed to give it a try.)
Siemens, Miele et alia white goods
The equivalent of a trolley dash around John Lewis...
A meal out for 50 (including vegetarians, vegans & teenagers) at a pushchair & wheelchair friendly venue somewhere within 5 minutes of a Birmingham Railway station. Ideally with the option of buying added places at a reasonable rate.
Denby china by the boxed set (I have teenagers to equip To Leave.)0 -

I recently came across colouring in for adults on Pinterest and when I saw some of the patterns I loved them - I've saved lots and am planning to do this when I find some lovely colouring in pencils, I remember you used to be able to get metallic ones and that would make lovely pictures and would take hours to do.
I will take all these abroad with me when I retire in the sun and don't do the computer so much as I can sit outside in lovely weather nearly every single day - whoo hoo!0 -
The OP says "I DON'T want to win" so folks are telling us the prizes they don't want to win.
Which I presume means they don't enter comps for the things they have listed.
I personally can not see the point of entering for anything you, your family or friends can not use.
I have several items collecting dust upstairs that I thought I could sell and have not been able to, now I comp for me and mine
Have you heard of "Freecycle" it is where you can give things away for free and free up your space - I got rid of bunk beds and an enormous 8 seater table and chairs - I've also got a brilliant fan for when it's very occasionally hot! and several others things, all for free.
Oh I also got a broken washing machine picked up which saved us the back ache of getting it into the car and taking it to the tip!

I don't want to win.....
any holiday which doesn't include the travel. We live in the Highlands, so travel anywhere costs a fortune and would make a holiday pointless.
Spa breaks....how boring...
Celeb meets....who cares anyway?
£100 off vouchers for a holiday or purchases that I wouldn't buy anyway. Pointless.0 -

I agree but sometimes there are multiple prizes on offer - I have won top prizes a couple of times when I wanted one of the many smaller ones also prizes are randomly allocated sometimes so you cannot choose.0 -
Runner up prizes of ebooksWishing you all good luck!

Well, actually Debs, there are some of us who wouldn't be disappointed by winning a case of alcohol-free wine, providing it was one of those brands that manage to make an acceptable substitute.
Having been stricken by an attack of acute pancreatitis 15 years ago, with a 3 week incarceration in hospital, followed by consultant's advice to avoid alcohol as it can precipitate a recurrence (10% of victims don't survive), resorting to some versions of de-alcoholised wine has been a godsend.0
