Soooo many things I don't want to win - which probably explains a) the dearth of wins this year, and b) the pages and pages of red crossed comps on here!
I'm very picky about what I enter for, a few examples of the things I'm not interested in are:
    - prizes to do with pets, golf, crafting, fishing or horse riding
    - 99.9% of ticket competitions - they're normally for London and / or for events I'm not interested in and / or could not get to.
    - really random minor prizes - eg. a tiny photo frame, a phone case for a particular sized phone etc
    - discounts - eg. £500 off a set of blinds that would still cost about £1000!
    - holidays for two people (kids would never forgive us if we left them behind and went away!)
    - cookery inspired items - blenders, mixers, juicers, just not interested

I'm sure there's many other categories that I'm fussy about, but there's a few to be going on with!

What I don't want to win:

    - Holiday for 2 (I would feel to bad going on holiday without my children) or any family holiday that has to be taken in term time, plus most family holidays means under 12s. So thats narrowed it down a lot to almost NO holiday competition.
    - No ballon ride, bungee jump or skydive
    - Theatre ticket unless it's something I really would like to see
    - Car hire for a weekend or sportscar for a day
    - Gym membership for a month or personal trainer (I got my gym membership I'm happy with)
    - Nothing to do with football/golf
    - Hairsalon visit
    - chef to cook at home
    - meet and greet ... unless it Hugh Jackmann
    - anything I need to go live on air
    - no sky subscription
    - I don't enter the Wedding magazine competitions
    - nothing for Baby ie pram, wouldn't feel right as I dont need it anymore
Quite a list here but I would happily take a spa day :-)

I Do Not Want To Win:

Cheese - I'm fussy about the type and the rest of the family are allergic.

Shoes - unless they're very wide-fitting size 8's, and heels not thin and not higher than two inches.

Meet and Greet - all that effort for so little.

Theatre vouchers - our local two are no longer on the list of applicable venues.

Holiday prizes that must be taken during the week - we do have lives that require our presence during the week.

I thought about this as I went through today's comps and top of my list are:

    - gym membership - an aversion to over-weight folk showing off their Lycra!

    - Cbeebies DVD - so relieved my kids are past the Night Garden & Teletubbies stage.

    - Lionel Richie tickets - with apologies to any fans, but need I say more?!

This really made me LOL :rotfl:

I can just see all our lady compers walking up to their husbands/partners and saying "Excuse me dear but could you lob the old man out, so I can measure him............Thank You"

    :o:rotfl::eek:

I was on a skype conference with my boss when I opened the WEM with instructions!! We could hardly breathe for laughing.....whilst I have never admitted the prize to DH.:rotfl::rotfl:
Back to comping after a couple of years overseas
    Good Luck Everyone

I wouldn't want to win a year's supply of Kelloggs Cornflakes again - seriously after the 6th 750g box no one in my family could face another flake and there was still 30 huge boxes to go! We made cornflake cakes for Easter and for any fund-raising events in our local area just to use them up. In the end, I donated the last batch of boxes to the breakfast club at my kid's school. Fair enough, if we could have been sent a selection of Kelloggs cereals for a year we would have enjoyed them but when they were all just Cornflakes it became to much! :( Infact, since then, I have never bought cornflakes again!
:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea

    1. meet and greet - not a people person
    2. any huge car / motorhome - I do drive, but I don't have shares in an oil company.
3 any huge range cooker - eg 2 ovens, 6 or 8 burners (gas) etc - I don't do gas, and I've only room for a single built-under oven see below.

The 'skins' prize makes me laugh every time I think about it. :rotfl: Will be hard for anyone to top that.

Did you really mean to say that? :rotfl::o:rotfl:

I see Durex have a comp

    And plodding onwards.........:o

    Why is a "boot camp" a holiday/prize? I don't think so...

What about hotel stays that are in your home town/city? I don't enter for stays in Newcastle as it wouldn't feel like a "holiday/break"

Fluffy toe post slippers? Flip flops or slippers but not both in one :(

I would never enter for a chocolate fountain either, 2 parts oil to 1 part chocolate to stop it from setting, a lump of pure chocolate melts in my mouth just fine ;)
