    - Anything covered in glitter/buttons/bows
    - A walking/yoga/horse riding/painting holiday.. not my thing at all
    - Bootea. Out of curiosity I bought some of this junk. Verdict: you are essentially retweeting to win some laxatives

    2) A two night break somewhere that would take me an age to get to (Too much travelling effort for two days)

I was unfortunate to win one of these once. The broken-English terms said it was a 'holiday' to be won.
In actual fact it was a 2 night stay in a 3-star hotel in the middle of nowhere in Italy. Needed to hire a car or take a 3 hour cab ride to get to the hotel from the already obscure airport. No food or drink included, no flights included.
Looked up the hotel on Trivago and it was £38 a night. Expenses were set to cost us around £700.

    We didn't go :rotfl:

I echo a lot of these, especially 2 night stays in scotland or anywhere that the travel outweighs what would be the enjoyment. Spa breaks aren't for me either or meeting celebs. I just like things that would make life easier or I could sell/pass on to a friend/family member.

I won a Durex comp and although the prize was a Now TV pass, I went bright red when I saw it was a Durex win ha.

Me too, but most of them seem to be for two people in a double room, and I'm single!

What about hotel stays that are in your home town/city? I don't enter for stays in Newcastle as it wouldn't feel like a "holiday/break"

Now see, this is again where we are all different! I ALWAYS enter for hotel stays in my home city as they would be a perfect treat: a night away from the kids, but not too far away if anything were to happen! ;)

Anything where the prize doesn't come to me including but not limited to holidays, spa days, festival tickets, shopping trips, meet and greets, movie premiers, etc.

    - Meet and greets
    - football tickets
    - Monday - Thursday only theatre tickets
    - Equine stuff
    - wedding stationery
    - nail polish/false eyelashes
    - must go on air comps
    - one night stays hundreds of miles away
    - anything to do with golf

This list keeps on growing - maybe that's why I haven't won anything lately?

My comping buddies keep entering me or tagging me into sex toy comps, which I keep ruddy winning even though I've only had banter on the posts never entered....... after the nipple clamps I thought they would stop but they didn't.

Personally I wouldn't enter a competition for something I don't want to win.

It is a little frustrating to think that there are people entering for things I would really like to win and would use when they don't want them except for their resale value.. But life is hopefully short and I try not to worry too much :)

Of course that doesn't always work, I once won gig tickets for a competition I know I didn't enter.
