The EU was great as a trading community but we are heading for political union because our politicians lured us into this without reading the fine print of the Maastricht Treaty. If we vote out we will still have NATO and our Euro friendship. My own view of the EU is that it is like a big family where everyone argues sometimes and where the domineering father (Mr Brussels) tells everyone what they can or can't do, but where the dominated and bullied wife (Mrs Subservient UK) wants to have some control of her life. Let's just say that Brexit would be emancipation for the UK.0
