Octopus Energy reviews: Give your feedback

I have been onto Octopus themselves (helpful as they are) to ask how to use their video demo so as to show what being on Tracker for the past 12 months would have cost me, and what their estimate would be for being on Tracker for the coming 12 months. Based on my own explicit consumption figures (which I might want to vary). For comparison with being on the Fix tariff.
I almost get the impression that I have asked too much, even though the demo tool appears to have been designed to do precisely that.
Has anyone else been able to solve this basic query and if so how - by using what link(s)?
Tks.Telegraph Sam

Seems to be a bit of a clique. Just being a customer is not sufficient. I will make enquiries.Telegraph Sam

It’s Octopus’ forum for their smart meter ToU tariff customers which discusses such things as automating immersion heaters; appliances; EV charging; heat pumps etc to make best use of the Agile tariff; such things as future ToU tariff comparison tools, and load shifting. I find it useful as I have been on ToU tariffs for over 2 years but detailed discussions about Node Red; JSON and MQTT might as well be in Chinese. Tracker tariffs are not regarded as smart as they have always been, and are, available to customers with non-smart meters.Telegraph_Sam said:Seems to be a bit of a clique. Have Octopus given up answering emails? I want to switch my gas to them, sent them an email a week ago to arrange it, but no response. Same thing a couple of weeks ago when I emailed them and asked a tariff question. Again, no answer had to call them in the end. Took about 10 minutes for them to answer.
What's happened to their customer service? When I switched my electric to them a couple of years ago, always answered emails within an hour or so and phone calls within 5 minutes,. (As if I can't guess, loads of new customers and no additional customer service support)0 -
Many people saying same thing on Social Media, DM via Twitter is quickest text/messaging method to get reply from Octopus Energy (@octopus_energy) / Twitteruknick said:Have Octopus given up answering emails?

Ive had this problem when trying to contact london power (operated by octopus) recently. Gave up and called them, and they pick up within a minute or two and are much more efficient.0

My problem precisely also. They used to boast about how good they were at answering emails - justifiably - but they should now turn the volume down. I will try by phone instead.
Still hoping that one of the readers of this forum is more advanced in his/her understanding of the Tracker tariff than I am, and can offer assistance.Telegraph Sam
