That's great. Thank you0

Thanks all. There is nothing in my balance history about validation.Gas usage to 7 May was approx 60% of previous month’s. Not surprising (to me anyway) because I reduced the time the boiler is on to heat water and it’s been so much warmer.I always take photos to prove my readings so I’ll just wait for it to sort itself out.0 -

According to the information I was sent it's 12 months and seems like the standing charges are fixed despite saying they can change which is why someone on here said they had to make a v3 to increase them.To just change the standing charge because they wanted to did need a new version of the tariff.Nevertheless, the only change between V2 and V3 was the standing charge...So either they felt the need to make an immediate change without notice, or they felt the need to release a new version to make the change...If it was the former, why hasn't anyone on V2, or V1 for that matter had a change notice for the standing charge?

If it helps you are entirely correct that in order to offer different terms to new switchers to tracker tariff whilst not affecting those already on the tariff for as long as Octopus do not wish for existing customers to be affected they did need to launch different versions, bearing in mind the product screenshots I have posted stating that Octopus can change this and that by giving notice to existing customers it is misguided for anyone to view that as a factor for what is convenient for some to believe that standing charges are fixed for 12 months, https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/79187323/#Comment_79187323
.
Octopus tracker standing charges for each version are clearly fixed/left unchanged for existing customers for as long as Octopus allow them to be fixed/not changed
I recall numerous posts on tracker tariff both 2020 and 2021, plenty including me signed up in 2020, this is the first year that those who have switched to it have formed an opinion standing charges are fixed for 12 months, I think in previous years more people were directed to tracker tariff product guide.
Whilst it is true standing charges on tracker have not previously changed equally Octopus have not previously found the need to take steps to make the tariff less appealing to switch to, we all know much has changed this year re standing charge rates, difference in rates between fixed rates/energy capped tariff and tracker tariff that did not exist in previous years.
Obviously I am hoping v1 is not changed in any way shape or form despite Octopus having apparent ability to do so if it wanted to....... Octopus may have already decided to allign all versions later this year or may choose not do so at all.......

I guess the SC will change on v1 & v2 at some point as there will be a need to pay back the Gov't £200 loan over the 5 years.
I don't think many tend to stay on Tracker through the winter (at least not last winter) as it faired badly against the SVT. But those who have a 30 / 6 cap on v1 are quids in at the minute, but my understanding is that they could remove this voluntary cap at anytime.1 -

Your gas meter readings should have been added by now. There's a form link in the latest update which you can use to raise queries: https://octopus.energy/avro/
Is your opening reading showing on your meter reading history?0 -

The daily standing charges appear to match those on Flexible, which removes one of the attractions of Tracker. My gas switched to Octopus on Sunday but so far there's no gas tariff information showing on my account. I'm meant to be on Tracker but don't know which version, or even if I've been put on Flexible as an interim measure. Switching 1 fuel leaving other fuel on another tariff they have do switch themselves.
I am surpised they cannot manually generate a quote, not that it would have any relevance to what the kwh rates will be in reality going forward.
When I initially switched Gas to Tracker leaving E on flexible switch was done for me without a quote for above reason.
