The documents they sent me make it seem like its fixed.bristolleedsfan said:

According to the information I was sent it's 12 months and seems like the standing charges are fixed despite saying they can change which is why someone on here said they had to make a v3 to increase them.To just change the standing charge because they wanted to did need a new version of the tariff.

Clearly states "price" guaranteed is not applicable, customers thinking about changing to Octopus Tracker/who are on Octopus Tracker should read how it worksWant to know more about how Tracker works?Take a look at our Frequently Asked Questions
Screenshot I posted was taken from - How is the "price" of the Octopus Tracker calculated?

Flexible will probably offer a better deal than Tracker during winter, as it did last year.SGB89 said:
It all depends on if they start offering cheaper fixes again by the end of the summer. I don't think they will as all the energy companies will be wanting to claw back as much money as they can.masonic said:I doubt many people will plan to stay on Tracker beyond the end of the summer. It is a great option while personal usage, and national demand, is low.
Even if wholesale rates drop like a stone I still think they will be reluctant to offer any decent fixes until 2023+.
So it will be a case of looking at the average price on tracker vs what fixes, if any appear that end up being cheaper than trackers average price based on the rates you are billed on the latest monthly statement.

All that can be said for sure is that so far they have treated it as a fixed tariff. As BLF has pointed out, there are terms enabling them to vary both SC and the formula for the unit price subject to 30 days notice. Those terms have never been used to date, and instead they've released a new version of the tariff and left existing customers on the old pricing.SGB89 said:The documents they sent me make it seem like its fixed.

Since 1 April Tracker electricity kWh rate has been above my regions flexible kWh rate 25 ish days to different degrees and above 30pkWh rate 18 daysSGB89 said:
So at the moment its probably the cheapest tariff.
Had Octopus changed product kWh cap for v1 at the time it was changed for new switches changing to what became v2 I would have changed electricity back to flexible being as flexible standing charge after loyalty discount is about 29p for my region and that is coming from an extremely low user averaging 2kWh per day all seasons
I think relevance of average kwh rate Octopus quote is summed up by 10 days after I changed electricity to Tracker Octopus sent payment review suggestion based on 30pkwh as opposed to 25.32p per kWh that had been estimated for next 12 months.

Ex Avro customer here. All ok so far.Submitted both electricity & gas meter readings on 7th as usual. Both ‘accepted’ & show on my account.Statement just received with charges for electricity, no mention of gas apart from est annual usage figure. Is this a common occurrence? Will it correct itself?0

Have a look at your balance history. It might say something about the gas usage needing to be verified before they can bill it.badger09 said:Ex Avro customer here. It happened quite often before I got smart meters.1 -
There's a validation process when readings are submitted by customers. If usage is outside of the expected limits, then the reading may not be accepted, which is when a photograph can come in very handy.badger09 said:Ex Avro customer here. Same here I've got a smart meter for electric but a non smart meter for gas and they sometimes verify the gas reading.Umiamz said:
