True, but the question was about the Tracker V1 cap, and I don't think there is any way to see what that cap is currently as long as the prices remain below the old cap...QrizB said:MWT said:tlcgrantham said:I’d love to know if anyone lucky(wise) enough to have been on Gas Tracker v1 before it was withdrawn is still on it or have they been moved to v2 and the higher cap. Those who were on it will stay on it at least until their 12 months ends. Can't really tell if the cap has changed until the prices go above the old cap levels, but I suspect they have not been changed yet or we would have seen comments about it.Gas prices on Tracker v2 have been higher than 6p/kWh; they were 8.something last week (yes, after v2 was launched).See tlcgrantham's post here:

Good to know they’ve not moved you to the higher cap. Please post if they do. You did very well to switch to 6p Gas Tracker v1 before they closed it.bristolleedsfan said:MWT said:

Thanks - Now that I (think I) understand how Tracker works, I'll keep an eye on the tracker prices over the next while...

As Qrizb correctly forecasted Gas Tracker has remained for me @ 4.4p/kwh for last 4 days. Is there anyway of knowing the previous day like the Agile forecast above what the Gas Tracker price will be?QrizB said:In related news, Agile is back working more-or-less as it should (at least for this weekend):
There's some very cheap electricity tomorrow (Sunday) during daylight hours, before the 4pm peak period.0 -
They use the Marex Spectron index to set the wholesale price used in the formula here: https://octopus.energy/tracker-faqs/tlcgrantham said:

As far as I can see, this data is only published to the internet after the period has ended (currently showing as zero for this bank holiday weekend).

Something that does not seem to be getting a mention, as of a week ago Go Faster customers continue to be getting renewed at old 2019 rate for a further 12 months including old standing charges due to Octopus apparent inability to send timely correct renewal notices 1 -
Yep, mine auto-renewed on the old terms this week. They did send a renewal notice a couple of days before saying that I would roll onto the new Go Faster but it has renewed at the old rate and still 5 hours from 20:30.bristolleedsfan said:Something that does not seem to be getting a mention, as of a week ago Go Faster customers continue to be getting renewed at old 2019 rate for a further 12 months including old standing charges due to Octopus apparent inability to send timely correct renewal notices
