I spoke with them and they compensated me saying its probably stuck in the system, but still 14 days since I went into a higher rate I still have no comms or explanation as to the rise.0

That explains why my price promise rates have increased as well, but no email to advise it'd be going up.Pennies holding up the Pounds.0

I fear that I could be following you but from being a lap behind in understanding the mechanics::
What is the "price promise"? Has it got something to do with Avro?Telegraph Sam

The "Price Promise" tariff is a variable tariff in that it can change at any time, but prices remained the same for a while now. The tariff promises a saving of at least £50 against price cap prices.
Up until recently, the gas unit price in my area was 3.895p and standing charge was 25.095p.
Looking at my account today, it's showing gas unit price of 7.14p and standing charge is 26.53p
The last email I had advising the rates were changing was 15th October 2021, and rates weren't changing until 12th November 2021, so roughly 1 months notice. This time, nothing.
