I think anyone moving to the Tracker tariff needs to commit themselves to checking prices frequently.
I wonder how IHD and Smart Meter displayed prices deal with the Tracker tariff.0 -
Although I only use the IHD for current usage in kW and ignore costs.
Octopus website and Bright are much more useful.
Which leads to the next question....0 -
I seem to remember consulting the online Tracker tool or rather graphs daily to monitor the prices when I was on that tariff. In time the IHD began to lose its novelty value, but that was just personal preference. Bright - that's a new one on me.Telegraph Sam
There are also unknown unknowns - the one's we don't know we don't know1 -

A bit of an odd question, I'm with Octopus Go. Until very recently, the total reading on my smart meter has equalled the R01 register and the R02/3/4 registers have all been zero.Reading my meter tonight, I now see that there are a few units showing on the R02 register and R01+R02 = total.Has this happened to anyone else on Go? Was I unusual before, or am I unusual now?N. Hampshire, he/him. Octopus Intelligent Go elec & Tracker gas / Vodafone BB / iD mobile. Ripple Kirk Hill member.
