    Have you had your valuation?

We've got an offer but we're waiting on the valuation, I guess it's an "offer subject to valuation".

yes our valuation was carried out and is ok, though it took them 2 weeks to arrange it.

Had a message from the Broker, Success! Sense has prevailed!

thank f......... using a broker is definitely the way to go with these things, I haven't been this stressed since my wife applied for her settlement visa.

I'm going to start requesting paper copies of everything, so much for helping the environment and stuff.

Mine was also awaiting to offer and now they replied that they want marriage sertificate. Completely shocking attitude..couple of days ago they said that they have ALL documents and happy to proceed.

  • I was concerned about them not asking for marriage certificate but I'm sure I read on their criteria they need it if you've named changed within the last 3 years AND you still use your maiden name for somethings

I assume my maiden name can be seen somewhere but we are married more than 3 years and why they have sent letter that they have all documentation ready and checked and are ready to issue an offer. And then again silence and now asking for something else. And they are aware that our tenancy ends on 27th of may, we are waiting for our documents to be checked 1.5 months already.

Even on their website it says only needed if married less than 3 years

  • I took it to the brokers but not sure if he took a copy of it but we've been married 2 years but I have one credit card in my maiden name.

No, I am sure everything is on my new name and we are married more than 3 years. Our broker said that will speak with their manager regarding this, so waiting for an outcome right now. It's not hard for me to send this, but they review each document 5 days, don't want to loose that time again.

  • Is this the only set of documents they requested after the initial assessment?
