Did your wife get her "emergency"day paid for?.
I noticed that you seemed to spend a lot of your employers time on here the other day?

I've had a word with my employer. They're perfectly fine with what I do. In fact, my employer really likes me!

Dont expect you'll understand that last paragraph....
• For emergency day read headphone shopping.....

Ah Robin. I see that thread has been deleted somehow. Lets not start all that up again is it? :T

Im sure we both have better things to do? I do anyway.
;discussion/5461325]Stayed in hotel last night. Had to put bags down inc headphones to open room door - must have dropped headphones. Not mega expensive but nice Bose ones (£100). Must have been 15 mins - checked outside - gone.

No-ones handed in at reception last night or this morning. Slight chance someone may have picked them up last night (it was 9pm) and drop them off when checking out later this am but its not looking good.

Thing is there are only about 4 rooms down this part of the hotel so its likely to be someone staying there whos seem them or a staff member.

Just can't believe that someone would do something like this if is has happened.:mad::mad:

Going to check the hotel later and considered ringing the police but I doubt they're going to round up the other people in the hotel. Not happy.
£100 headphones is mega expensive IMO.

it is if you use them every now and then. but if you wear them daily for long commutes, fitness at the gym, are an audiophile or just live in them for noise cancelling, then it's actually value for money since they come with 2 year warranty.

Use them every day. So £100/£150 is ok to pay (but not lose!)

It depends how often you use them.

My OH uses his (noise cancelling) on a 40 minute bus ride - out and in so almost an hour-and-a-half - 6 days a week and on flights.

They weren't cheap but well worth the money
He passed his old ones down to me and they are so much better than the ones that came with my phone (which are pretty good).

45 min train and 15 min walk each way for me. Fortunately, only 5 days a week....
