Gosh, wasn't it ear-phones that had been stolen, by your cleaner as you suspected?

Years ago OH left a bag containing our passports and an expensive camera on an airport shuttle bus.

The driver rang one of our emergency contacts to get a message to us.

To be fair to hotel they've offered to check CCTV. Be interesting if they see who picked them up.

The hotel asks for ID when you check in so potentially they could see who this person was.

Be interesting if that happened. Not sure what would happen then.....
A polite chat from the hotel maybe (who would have the contact details) such as "We see you picked those up and I'm sure you were going to hand them in and forgot but if you'd like to drop them off at reception....."

If not, surely the police may be a little more interested?

They were my sons. Never ever turned up. So we still fully suspect the cleaner took them.... But thats all water under the bridge now.

Yes thing is I'm sure most people are honest. Or I used to think so. Surely 99% of the population wouldnt just keep something.
