Good afternoon .am thinking of you LS and sending you a Hug as think you might need one after receiving this news about your dear friend..it does not matter how you try and prepare yourself knowing that the inevitable will happen it is always so difficult to come to terms with with this sort of news ...take care and enjoy the time that you will be able to spend together :A xx

The hug is definitely needed and appreciated, thanks nanny. :A

Back from the Dr's, gynae referral for me, oh the joy. I did manage to get her to put the private hospital on the choose and book though (my Dr is absolutely lovely), if I have to spend more time in hospital at least it will be a slightly nicer looking one! :rotfl::o

Afternoon, does anyone think the 20% off code on the M&S vouchers that have been sent in the post for account holders will work with the one from hduk, please? Would be a lovely 40% off if so:)

My Up refused to co-operate after 6 months, got me money back, (the app is pretty good at tracking steps) I'd never buy another.

tbh, ask yourself what useful insights it gives in a day? I know i'm active and an average step count does me. Calories burned is highly inaccurate as is your perception of how "hard" you worked ;)

Far better to go the long route, track weight and calories and look for trends.
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

Known as the Up in our household which baffles visitors when I say I am just going to charge the Up up :)

I will probably just put a step counter on my phone - I know that between 10 and 15 k steps my legs are throbbing so that's a good indicator.
I did find the motion vibrate useful - you can set it to whatever you want so I set it to 45 mins - if I am glued to the chair and not moved it then vibrates so it reminds me to get up and move about
I also liked the gentle vibrate as an alarm call in the morning, less nerve wrecking than the alarm clock and I need 2 alarm clocks

But not I would not get another and I would not recommend them
