I'm fascinated by this story, if it isn't a wind-up.
Why do you think getting the electrician was a bad idea? You said yourself all he did was flick a switch and then remove some fuse wire. You've put it back and the problem is still there, so it wasn't caused by the electrician.
Please tell us more about yourself. What work do you do? Is it your house, or rented? What other tradesmen have you worked with in the past. Where in the country do you live?
Don't take this the wrong way, but from the way you write and the decisions you take I think you should urgently ask for some advice from an older family member, or from your housing association, or anyone older and wiser that you can trust. And in the meantime you should try and find some alternative accommodation.0 -
I said a bad idea cos it was working fine till my mate said get a plumber cos of your lights and plugs. Then since yesterday it is nothing but trouble and people tryin to take money off me
not sure why you askingbut i live in derby and do drving for car auctions in castle donington and Burton which pays quite well but not till the end of the month. House was my grandads till he died now i live on my own. never needed anythin doing before just fixed it on my own or got a mate to help me.
not sure who i can talk to not seen my mum for ages and dont think she would be happy if i turned up LOL. only other one is Uncle charlie who come to sort everything out when grandad died but not seen him since and I dont know where he lives now. thinkin maybe he owns the house now but not sure I have never payed rent just bills.
basicaly one person told me i could get advice at the libary and charge my phone then yesterday someone told me this is a good websiteto ask advice and showed me how to get on. since then everything is money money money so not a lot i can do0 -
You don't pay rent, you don't own the house and you don't know who does?
If this is a real thread (and I doubt anyone could be quote this ignorant) then you need to find someone who will look after you for a bit. You should not be living in that house by yourself. The house is dangerous and you are not willing or able to making sensible judgments.0 -
well the library lady said I cant be using the computer hear all day so I just give up and rung my mum. she don't want to talk to me but she says Uncle charlie was in charge of everythin when granddad died so she going to ring him and tell him to ring me or come round. fingers crossed he can get somthin sorted and I can just get back to normal! so much hassel just to get the lights on!0

Maybe you should have ring Uncle Charle instead of an Lectricin
Wait, is Uncle Charlie a euphemism? That would explain a lot!
