As far as I can see, if UK left EU, we would not be able to rejoin (or at least under anything like currect favourable terms.)

If we stay in, we can still leave at some future date if we do not like it.....

    C

I think just having a referendum to leave is enough to put us at the back of the class if we vote to stay in. So the only choice is EXIT. We will never have the same status we had before the promise of a referendum.

In fact the EU is so fragile I wouldn't be surprised if it broke up in the next few years anyway.

Remember when the USSR broke up. No one expected that did they. If you say yes you did expect it then you weren't around when it did actually happen.

I dont see the basis of this. Unless we assume they are dealing with a bunch of 8 year olds?

the fact we are having a referendum is a big concern to many in the EU. As most of them (possibly even the french) want us to stay in.

You've got it about right, but I would say 5 year olds!

Seriously, it's just human nature, you just have throw your toys out the Priam, start crying how unfair it all is, bawl your eyes out, and then say please, may we come back, promise to be good from now on, honest!

Would you take someone seriously after all that?

You probably say yes of course, but in reality, in the back of your mind you will always be thinking they don't really want to be here! We can't take you seriously etc, etc, etc. They won't say that to our face but that's what they will think!

VOTE EXIT is the only choice, other choices are available.

    Cheers fj

Leaving could have an impact on State Pensions, couldn't it? If I understand correctly, state pensions are currently increased by the same formula if the recipient lives in the EEA. This is not necessarily the case if the recipient lives in a non-EEA country.

It can be argued that everything would stay the same after a Brexit, but nobody knows.

As you say, it could have an impact on the state pension, on the other hand maybe it won't have an effect.

In reality no one knows what may happen. Not even those that think they know or have the facts.

One thing is certain not one member of the general public has any facts that bear any relation to the truth. No politician is going to give us the facts, because they themselves probably don't have any facts either. That makes any discussion on BREXIT, IN OR OUT, a complete waste of time.

Everyone will just vote on some myth that they like or don't like about the EU.

The only way to vote is EXIT of course, and other voting options are available.

No ONE knows what will happen? Surely that is the point?

Do you think the EU and other countries will welcome and expedite trade agreements? The US wont as they said, as they are currently negotiating their EU deal and therefore wont risk those negotiations.

Do you think multinationals who are based here because we are in the EU will move and take jobs with them?

I know the markets wont like it.

imagine if scotland had voted yes- and as they based their plans on the price of oil and it plummeted as we have seen. Wouldnt have been a pretty picture.

The same argument was made when we did not join the Euro by the same people.

If we stay in are we gong to go down the TTIP route with Cameron or the socialist utopia promised by Corbyn? They cannot both be correct. They will not share a platform.
I cannot imagine MB, BMW or French farmers wanting to miss out on one of their more lucrative markets.

Seems as if the French are against the current proposed terms of any trade deal with the USA. As view it as a trojan horse undermining their own economy. As with anything in the EU. As soon as it impacts National Interests then objections are raised.
