Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. Please also avoid posting personally identifiable information, including links to your own online property listing which may reveal your address. Thank you for your understanding.Waiting for a buyer... Anyone want to join me?

It is difficult to know how to price it, even if you do your research and know what's reasonable. We priced ours under some more or less identical properties thinking it would bring people in. We actually went with the lowest of the four valuations we had done. It worked initially but unfortunately didn't bring any offers. Then the market dropped and it made us look overpriced as lots of other properties started discounting. I would say, if you're going to drop the price, do it once rather than in increments.0 -
Maybe go for a re launch with another agent?0

I didn't resurrect the thread that's over a year old, thought it was better to just start a new one...
Oh the problems of today's people.
Why continue using something that is perfectly fine when starting a new one is a "better" idea. Not getting at you OP but it's okay to carry on threads.
If nobody replies to this thread within a month, someone else might just make a new one, then everyone will miss stuff from this thread that may be useful, albeit (in the case of the year old thread) a little outdated.0 -
Maybe a kind board guide might merge the threads when they get a moment?0
