Noble Viking that's a great list - some lovely stuff on there!

Have you tried doing a strand test to see what type of conditioner your hair needs? It was someone on this thread who told me about it years ago - and it's massively changed my hair! I discovered I personally needed protein conditioners rather than moisturising, and now my hair is so much better...

    Good write up here: http://www.babble.com/beauty/got-breakage-how-to-figure-out-what-your-hair-needs/

But basically, take a few strands of hair that have fallen out, or pull out a few sacrificial hairs ;) - then wet one or two, and stretch them. If they snap quickly - dry and brittle hair which needs moisturising products. If they stretch quite a bit but don't return to original length - weak hair which needs protein based products. If they stretch and return easily to original length - healthy well balanced hair!

Oh good tip, I shall try that! :)

    I have a couple off uu's

Lancome Hydrating Toner 50ml - have replaced it with another the same size.

Clinique Take the Day Off 30ml - this is very good but I don't really want to pay this price again.

    Oooops I've been naughty :o

Took a wander round both Superdrug and Boots today to find a darker concealer or contour stick - and failed miserably. Superdrug had some potential options, but they were all already sold out! There was a Maybelline stick which was close but was half highlighter, half dark shade, so was really hard to get just the darker shade out even testing it.

Concealers - plenty dark enough to match my actual skin tone, but none dark enough to use as a contour colour.

Boots had a good Sleek tester in a concealer dark enough - but didn't actually have any concealers on sale! I asked round a few more counters what they had, but it was all kits or powder :(

Then I went to the Clinique counter to try the chubby stick I'd seen online - and it was perfect :P Not at all orangey. Then the counter girl told me about a special offer - the countour chubby stick, highlighter chubby, and the new foundation chubby together on a 3for2 deal :rotfl: I (vaguely) needed a darker foundation anyway, so went for it. Oooops. But they are all lovely, and blend so beautifully together (and I always use Clinique foundation). So yeah, off to the naughty step, but I'm happy with the items :o

(Oooh, she also gave me some free moisturiser samples! Will use those when away this weekend).

UU 4 - Charles Worthington Colour Enhancer Brunette Conditioner 250ml - WNBA. I bought the full size of this as I'd used a travel size sample of the shampoo and conditioner on holiday and loved it. Bought the full size of both (UU shampoo as shower gel in the end) and they left my hair so greasy looking AFTER I washed it. Far too heavy. Maybe they'd reformulated, they had redone the packaging as well, but really disappointed. Will be looking for another conditioner now as I like to have two to use on rotation.

Got loads of splutterers going atm seem to be using something up a day! Woohoo!

    Two slightly boring UUs:

    5. Mitchum Deodorant in Powder Fresh 41g. This is the stick version that I use all the time and I love it so WBA. Replacing with a roll on version of the same (100ml) - I don't know why I bought it considering I prefer the sticks but going to use it up!

    6. Nivea Double Effect Eye Make Up Remover 125ml. Nothing special so probably WNBA, I prefer oilier eye make up remover as I wear waterproof mascara. Replacing with Boots Fragrance Free Eye Make Up Remover Pads (40).

I called into Boots near work yesterday and bought another one of the Mitchum sticks from the clearance shelf. There was also a box of my favourite VS hair colourant reduced as well.

I would like to change one of my 7 by summer items, I've realised that the nail varnish mini I chose isn't really suitable for this time of year. So I have chosen a more suitable option.

2 - OPI Cement the Deal Mini - changed to OPI Kermit me to Speak mini.

I have used it to paint my Toe nails.

This prompted me to use a different mini last night as the Break a Leg Warmer is a grey colour too like Cement the Deal. I'm wearing OPI Kiss Me on the Tulips. I used to own Kermit me to Speak but gave it away as I didn't like the green duocrome. Bet it looks lovely on toes though.

I've always been complimented when I've had this on my fingers and have decided its much more seasonally appropriate. Ended up with Your such a Budapest on fingers, Want to change it now my Alice colours have come though.
