Big pampering day for me yesterday as I'm going to a Ball tonight  :D

Hair and face masks, face and body scrub, lots of body oil and gradual tanning lotion, manicure and pedicure. Phew!

I've now got Orly Ingenue (my fave, not used in ages!) on my fingers, and Barry M raspberry with a single coat of Ingenue on top on my toes for a darker but matching colour.

A few associated ins and outs for all the prep!

    Ins:
    - Superdrug nail buffer
    - mini St Tropez gradual tan tinted body lotion (30ml) free with a magazine

    Outs:
    - binned two old nail buffers that were now useless
    - Philip Kingsley Elasticizer (Neroli and geranium) 30ml. WDBA - I love Elasticizer, though haven't had to buy it in ages as my mum keeps getting it in Beauty boxes - she's not keen so gives them all to me, woohoo. The new fragrance version adds nothing though.
    - Elemis PCMC 30ml tub. WPNBA. I do like it, but it's not quite my HG. Sinks in beautifully but leaves my skin slightly oilier than my fave. Would very happily use it again though in sample tubes.
    - St Tropez lotion above. WMBA. Nice and thick, so very nice to massage in. And I like the tint it's given me - very natural, and no streaks. But I'm not sure it's great value for money - as it's so thick it doesn't go as far as thinner lotions. The 30ml was gone pretty quickly. It would do a full body once I think. I might get on offer to have in the cupboard for certain occasions.

momobingu - using up your Lush stash must have freed up a good amount of space - unless you've filled it with a new stash:rotfl:.

Deleted_User - I'm the same with those massive mascara brushes, I end up with splodges on my lovely eyeshadow. I much prefer a tiny brush which catches all the lashes better.

    I have a uu

OPI If You Moust You Moust 4ml - WNBA, this came in the Minnie Mouse set ages ago. I don't like these mini bottles as the brush is really tiny and I can't load it up with polish when I get past half way used so even though this has some left I can't get a smooth application with it.

I agree with you re the mini bottles. Such a waste, I find, after time, that I can apply one hand ok but not the other.

    Enjoy your Ball, fix X.

    2 UUs for me today.

Orange Tree Body lotion. This range and s vile. This lotion was really thin. I got these from my Secret Santa and would not seek them out to repurchase. This was also on my PP list.

TBS Coconut body scrub. This was Emma's and has been lurking nearly empty for ages. Do like it but prefer Lush Porridge.

No more UU s to report as yet though I'm planning on using some eye masks later. Really slim pickings on splutters too this week. My Vaseline deodorant is down to the last fifth I think but could still go on for 2 weeks and the litre bottle of ABC Skin wash is feeling very light. Other than that Emma's tube of LE C&P is looking squishy and she has hit pan on the current pot of LUSH Defluff.

Dark day though ladies as MRM has had to unbundle the shower drain again and told me not to buy anymore Porridge!

    I UU from today:

Soap & Glory Heel Genius 50ml - I got this mini unused from a charity shop for 99p. I really liked this and would pay full price. I found it to be very effective and it kept my feet soft all day with a lovely scent. WDBA.

The other stuff is spluttering away so I hope some of it will be finished soon - I've got a few hand creams, one by the sink, one on my bedside table and one in my handbag which are starting to get used up now. I haven't had any impulse toiletry buying recently. I went to a colleague's house last night and all of her family's bathroom stuff fits into one bathroom storage tower whereas my personal supply is in one and a half storage towers plus a large plastic box. It really reminded me how much I have in my bathroom.

my Neals yard hand cream is spluttering away it was a magazine freebie from last year and has lasted me a year so not bad. I alternate between this one the garden mint and the geranium one, I use the mint in the morning and in handbag and the geranium at night before bed. my liz earle toner is also spluttering away and I will decanter some more into my mini spritzer bottle so that should be UU by the end of next week.

Not getting very far at the moment I seem to have stalled with the Uu's not doing very well this month! Although I suspect they will all finish at once. Lush sweetie pie jelly is nearly finished and the soap I'm using ATM too. I think some things will end up being carried over to next month. Talcum powder is still refusing to finish!

I have an in of lush jungle shower jelly.

Really need to stop this lush kitchen obsession I seem to have developed. :(

I have a UU to report:

Boots extracts almond body butter 50ml- WBA this is lovely, perfect consistency and sinks in quickly. Smells gorgeous too. I have more of these in stash. Replaced with an Avon naturals vanilla whip.

    Eta:

Malin + goetz lip moisturiser 5ml- WBA HG (although have another stashed) this was free with Elle magazine and it's been the best lip product I've ever had. I can't justify paying for the full price but whenever this is free with a mag I will stock up on it. It really really works and is so soothing on my lips. I get colds constantly so I've been reaching for this more and more. Sorts my lips out when they are really dry and cracked. Mum also commented that it looks lovely on, makes your lips glossy and shiny (like wearing a clear lip gloss). It's quite thick in consistency so a little goes a long way!

Also forgot to say I have an in from Elle magazine this month - Percy & reed wonder overnight recovery. Looking forward to trying this out.
