How do you apply this colour tattoo, I have several colours but this one always applies patchily?

I made a cuppa this afternoon and did a lip product purge. This is what I have got rid of today in phase 1:

Natural Collection Sweet Pea - to pale and shimmery
Clinique Extreme Pink - darker but still too shimmery
Calvin Klein Flutter - too brown

DD took the following off my hands:

Estee Lauder Candy Shimmer - too pale and shimmery
No7 Stay Perfect Grace - too brown
No7 Moisture Drench Pink Crush - too old fashioned for me

So 6 lippies out of my collection and I also have a bunch of others which are going to be used over the next week or so and if I don't like them they will be going to.

I don't have a problem with the Colour Tattoo however I use it as a base and always put something on top. I apply it with my ring finger. I have noticed that the texture in the pot seems to be a little drier than when I originally opened it and I know YouTubers complain about these drying out.

I need to have a cull on lip products too. The one I'm using today is not great so think I will ditch it. It is a no 7 lip crayon in nude. Not flattering at all.

Can anyone recommend a good eye primer? I tried my new 24hr colour tattoo on my eyes today for work, applied it about 11am and once I got home it was all gone although I didn't check my appearance until about 11pm once I'd been out with friends. I'm currently using a MUA eye primer from Superdrug but it's starting to slowly run out so I need to find something good to replace it with when it finally runs out.

My month has been pretty slow too. I'm starting to run out of things I can use up quickly but I'm taking aim at some bigger bottles as well now. I know that 500ml bottle of Baylis & Harding body lotion will take forever to use up but I've used it twice and can already see the dent in it. I'm using it at nights since I don't like the scent much. It's so good using up something big as it feels like I'm freeing up so much space.

    Hi Lucia,

I use Benefit Lemon Aid as an eye primer and don't suffer any problems with the application of anything on top of it however I'm thinking of changing primer once this has gone as it does not hide the discolouration straight away so I can't have the non-eyeshadow days that I used to enjoy.

I think sometimes the thinner lotions in big bottles are not such good value as you do end up using loads on application and therefore getting through them quicker (which is good for this challenge though, yes?).

I have an IN to report. My Avon order came yesterday and I have a tub of Planet Spa Perfectly Purifying body butter. I had put it straight out in the bathroom to use but have decided I'm going to take home the M&S hand lotion from my desk at work to use as a body lotion. It is awful on my hands. When it is absorbed it feels like I have tried to apply soap by accident. If I don't like it as a body lotion it is getting ditched. Life is too short.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Couple of UUs from the list. Have had lots more over the past week while I was on holiday but won't count them as I didn't have them on the list to begin with.

Triple Dry roll on deodorant 50ml - WBA, it did the job.
Dolly’s mixtures candy floss shower gel 300ml - WNBA, it was ok but there are plenty more that I prefer.

I also have INs as I went to Loccitane for the freebie. Managed to get 2 as hubby had a voucher too and also ended up picking up 2 delightful festive baskets as had the £10 off vouchers and hubby said he was paying so INs are:
    2x 75ml Verbena Shower Gel
    2x 75ml Almond Shower Oil
2x 75ml Roses et Reines Beautifying Body Milk
2x 5ml Pivoine Flora Eau de Toilette
2x 10ml Pivoine Flora Hand Cream
2x 100g Bonne Mere Honey Soap
    2x Divine Cream 4ml
2x Shea Butter Hand Cream 10ml
    2x Verbena Shower Gel 30ml
    2x Aromachology Replairing Shampoo 35ml
also have 4 sachet samples of face cream. I don't add samples to my stash list as they go quite quick but will sort my list out when I get a chance

    One UU

    55) Aveeno lotion - WBA

    A couple of ins.

A free bottle of Berries and Cream shower gel from Boots via the O2 app.

Boots also sent me a voucher for Calmurid Pro (presumably because of the amount of money I spend on dry skin products!) so I got the hand cream half price.

    Nice haul x.

Any ladies use Avon Clinical Eye Lift? I'm not very impressed by the Elemis eye cream I'm using at the moment and want to use one. Don't have any more in stash and the present brochure has a pot of this as GWP. I do have to be careful that I don't use anything too rich as I can get milia. Any recommendations?

I have one IN this week, faith in nature aloe vera shampoo as I only have a quarter of a bottle left and I broke the lid. I gave my friend a just pink gift set that I had in my cupboard for her birthday, so that has given me some spare space in my beauty cupboard.:j

lucia22 - Benefit Creaseless Cream Eyeshadows make a good base, also Urban Decay Primer Potion and Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I haven't had any success with cheaper brands so can't help there.

VALM - thanks for the info on the colour tattoo.

The lady in my local Boots said they have been inundated with people coming in. They have filled up all the display stands/shelves near all the tills as they were sick of people asking about it!

I have a UU to report!! Feels like a slower month for Uu's than normal. Never mind.

TBS satsuma body butter 200ml- WBA but ready for a change now! Really like this scent but I've had it on the go for about 3 months (I'm using it for work sleep ins), however I'll definitely be coming back to it again. As with most tbs butters I've had this was a lovely consistency and sank in quickly. Got plenty in stash to replace this so don't need to buy anymore!

Hair mask looks to only have one use left so hopefully that'll be gone tomorrow. Everything else seems to be never ending!!

    3 more UU's today!

    • Garnier Ultimate Blends Strength Restorer 1 Minute Treatment – Probably WNB, was ok but nothing too special

    • Bumble & Bumble Salt Spray – WB, was a gift and I love a good salt spray! Might see what else is available first though.

    • Superdrug Vit E Hot Cloth Cleanser – WDBA, love this. Have a Soap ¶ Glory peaches and clean to use up next but would buy this again after.
    No more goo hoarding!
