He told one neighbour that anotehr neighbour was supporting it, when she has just handed me her objection letter.

I have no advice but to the above bit, it could be that that particular neighbour didn't want to speak up and say they were objecting. Too scared or whatever.

should i go round there and ask him about this?

No. You don't want an official neighbour dispute. He can call the police on you and tell them you are hassling/threatening him over the planning issue.

If you get on well with some of the people raising objections tell them to tell everyone what he is saying. Don't go into specifics about other people but just make it clear that he has asked to buy your property many times over 2 years and each time you have refused.

Bullies like him thrive on the fact people are too afraid to speak out on someone elses behaviour and lies, if people speak out then he will be seen for what he really as. When he loses his planning bid he will have to move out because living in the area will be uncomfortable for him.
    I'm not cynical I'm realistic :p

Rise above it Diva, if you can. This is the sort of dirty tricks these people love to play. It also means that your campaign is worrying him which is good!

Stay squeaky clean and justify yourself only to your friends. Do not go and see him.

Divadee - you seem to have forgotten all you learned about planning law  It's not about how many people support him - or how many he claims, do.

It's whether the application "ticks all the right boxes" at the planning office.

Just smile - people will wonder what you're up to :rotfl:

I wonder if the planning official who first saw it didn't realise what area it was in. It seems likely that in other areas of the borough such infill development would be more acceptable. However, your area has been specifically identified as being one in which inappropriate infill development will not be allowed. On that basis you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

If you want an aerial pic try this link:

There are buttons on the side for selecting Google earth or Microsoft Virtual Earth. Sometimes for the most detailed images one works better than the other.

Try this one for size, you might be able to see yourself in your own back garden ! Big brother is watching you.

There should be 4 views of your location, one from each point of the compass. This means you can get your house and spin it round. In my case cars appear and disappear in the drive, when I do so.

PS Not all of the country has been photographed yet but a few clicks suggests that the inside of the M25 was done about 2 years ago and Christchurch looks pretty convincing.
To get the pictures, you have to click the little skyscraper icon.

has anote put through the door last night from neighbour saying -

sorry if i have upset you but when i get permission building work will start straight away, and some of your fence panels will need to be removed to make access to build the back of the property and will be put back as soon as possible.

He also said that the builders may have to step onto my land at some point when the work is going on. I assume this is what he came round about the other day.

Now i havent responded as i think hes just being a cocky arrogant !!!!, but can i stop him doing any of this legally?

would it be a civil matter? or would i call the police?

if and its a big if!!! he got permission surely i can stop him removing my property and stepping onto my land?
