Games freezing

Leave it to run for 24 hours.
If it's ok, your system is intrinsically stable - psu, cpu and memory. It will not however stress your graphics card.
But it helps point to the problem being your graphics card. This will likely be a problem specific to the AOD/graphics card combo that you have. Or it could be a driver problem or BIOS setting. In the bios you could try tweaking the AGP Voltage up to 1.7V, or try disabling AGP Fastwrites, or setting AGP memory to >64MB.
Try running some benchmark tests to stress your graphics card. I would recommend 3DMark 2001SE, 3DMark03 and 3DMark05
If it passes all these it has to be AOD with your config - in that case, buy a new graphics card.

I downloaded 2001se and it got stuck on the benchmark test.
I'm now downloading the Mark 03 and 05 to give it a go on these.0 -
I've downloaded 3DMark03 amd 05. It wont let me run 05 and when I try 03 it loads the benchmark test and then freezes and I have to restart the computer.
How do I get into my bos to have a tweak0 -
Hi Renee
Your GF2 doesn't have enough memory to run 3DMark05, I just checked.
To go into the bios, turn on pc and as it's powering up repeatedly press the DEL key and that should take you into the 'CMOS Setup' menu.

Sorry to be such a pain but what command takes me into the bios via cmos.
On my screen I get
Safe mode
"" "" with networking and command prompt
Boot logging and vga mode and debugging mode.0 -

You need to press delete 'del' key loads of times until the blue BIOS screen comes up. As soon as you turn your p.c on start pressing del. You have to be quick or it will boot the hard drives.0 -
