    *shy wave*

Can I join please? I used to be a consultant, but it was years ago and I've forgotten everything I was taught, which is why I am heavier by a stone than when I first went to group... I've cut right down on alcohol and have consequently been stuffing my face with sweet stuff and crisps and we have quite a lot of stressy things going on too, which helps to weaken any resolve I might have on waking.

Anyway, it would be nice if I could tag along, if you'll have me?

lantanna, sorry things didn’t work out with your fella. Plenty more fish in the sea , so have fun fishing! Brilliant news about the interview – sending positive vibes your way for that and the weight loss.

That’s a shame about the mag being disappointing; it was one thing I did like. I stopped buying it because there are only so many new recipes you can try and the place was getting cluttered up when I kept them for another time. Then I tried the online version – great idea, but a faff to read. I think I have 3 or 4 issues I haven’t even opened! I seem to remember the spinach cannelloni from some years ago, jock (did it have cottage cheese?), so that would confirm recipes are being “recycled”. And I agree it was a faff to make!

maman, I do have sympathy with you Saints’ situation – did I hear somewhere that you are at risk of losing your manager again this summer? You are doing remarkably well under the circumstances.#

    Hiya, Dizzy Imp!

Well done, SOTW, jock! That’s a fantastic loss!

Thanks for keeping track for us, shala.

Well the SW bus finally stopped chez greentiger and here’s where it took me today –

    Pre-Breakfast: banana

    Breakfast: hexb toast, spaghetti hoops

Lunch: baked potato, Heinz 5 Beanz, salad (leaves, syboes, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, yellow peppers) and apple and kiwi srinkled with ginger

Dinner: hm fish pie (incs hexa cheese), Brussels sprouts, beetroot, WW raspberry tart yogurt

Snacks: shortbread round (5 syns ), quavers (4 ½ syns)

    Good luck everyone.

Of course Dizzy! Welcome to the crazy gang - we don't bite, I promise.
Clocking in with a 1lb loss. Had a chat during image therapy and I don't think I'm eating enough syns.
Yes, not enough. Some days last week I only had one! Don't think I had more than 30 in the whole week.
I'm not intentionally doing it to try and protect my weight loss and I genuinely feel like I don't need them and don't feel like I'm depriving myself. But....I wonder if part of me thinks that by not having the syns I'll lose more. So, I need to eat something synful before I go to bed.

Syns won't be a problem this weekend. Going to visit a friend in Leeds for 2 days and whilst I don't intend to go mental I don't intend to stay on plan 100% either.

Thanks Lantanna - good to be back!

100% on plan day today, ended up having speed soup then SW chips and onion gravy for tea so I have ended up having a couple of extra laughing cow cubes to nibble on as I was cooking instead.

Top Boy's team won 5-1 which was nice :)

    Tomorrow:

B - Egg, tomato and mushroom hash

D - Leftover Bolognese from the weekend (1 syn due to 125 ml of red wine, split over 4 portions and this is the smallest), baked potato and side salad.

T - Chicken, chorizo and sweetcorn pasta bake (2.5) with fruit to follow to ensure speed

Before bed - Options hazelnut (1.5) and 2 x Alpen Light (HEXB)

HEXA - Cheese in pasta bake and 150ml milk in tea.

    BM = Usual commute.

I've actually done a meal planner for the week's evening meals, normally just take salad to work.

Wed - Syn free sausages, mashed potatoes and vegetables with SW onion gravy

Thurs - Lamb and feta pie

Fri - Beef vindaloo. Made the lamb version for the first time last week and it was delicious, fancy trying it with beef for the cheaper option :)

Well first day back on the wagon hasn't gone too badly, I've gone over my syns but not going to beat myself up about it, as I'm feeling so much better having ate 'properly' today.

Well done Jock for SOTW :T

Belated congrats BEG for hitting target  (only just managed to catch up on the rest of the thread :D)

    Welcome aboard dizzy :hello:

    Today's food has been:

    B - puffed wheat & cuppas
L - tuna mixed with light mayo (1.5 syns) with SW chips (which were going to be a JP but I changed my mind), tomatoes & pickled onions
T - Burgers with more SW chips & cabbage

Massive fail with the burgers, I thought they were the BGTY ones but I only had Te$co ones in the freezer, they were delicious but 7 syns each  Speed fail as well, I've not had nearly enough today due to the fact that my online food shop didn't arrive until early evening. Will have to make up for it tomorrow

Did some exercise in the sunshine today, which involved walking up a bunch of steps over and over, didn't half feel it in my legs ouchy I'm going to be sore in the morning! It felt good to be out in the fresh air and off the sofa, weather was beautiful

:dizzy I didn't know you used to be a consultant. You'll soon get back into it. Some people still follow the old plans and they still work. All you need to watch is processed things where recipes have changed. Just ask anything you need to know.
I think our manager will stay another season greentiger as he's an honourable man.But he might change his mind if the club start selling again. Sounds like you've had a really good day.
It's always hard when you've got stuff in that needs using up candy but better you made a start today rather than put it off until your shopping was delivered.
Change of plan here as my dancing was cancelled so we had dinner at usual time and I got to have lunch. All on plan though.
