    Welcome back Topgirl and candyapple:wave:

Did anyone got the SW magazine this month, really disappointed with it :( I don't think there's one recipe I like the look of, they all seem to be fish based _pale_

    Thanks shala_moo and maman!

It feels like ages! I've been more of a Big Top Girl lately, work has been hectic (starting volunteering in a school in September to hopefully get a foot in the door to a salaried teacher training place), Top Boy has had his SATs so that's been an interesting
experience and there is an official Top Bloke (5 months today) and we all know that first flush of love comes with a lot of unhealthy eating and drinking.

We also have a new Top Dog (Keith) who is helping with Body Magic and eating scraps, but not so much with the stress/diving into a bottle of wine because he's peed on the floor for the 8th time today (he's only a giddy baby, bless him).

    Just meal planning now.

    Tomorrow will be

    B) Bacon egg and mushroom barm (HEXB)

    D) Ham, egg and new potato salad.

    T) Leek and potato soup (2 syns)

Top Boy has a football match straight from school so Body Magic will be the three mile school run/commute, plus dancing up and down the touchline and all the adrenaline from him being in goal.

Syns - Soup (2), 2 laughing cow mini cravings to 'butter' my breakfast (1.5) and an options hazelnut (1.5)

HEXA will be milk in tea.

Have a wonderful Monday lovelies :)

Commiserations Greentiger, I feel your pain. Never been involved in playoffs but I've suffered relegation so can empathise. Big hugs. :A

I bought the mag shala and up to now I've only flicked through it but I did notice the Pork and Apple Burgers. We tried them last night - they were quite nice - next time I think we will add some fresh sage to the mix.

maman, long breaks at target are easy - SW only require target members to weigh in every 8 weeks to retain access (although they encourage more frequent attendance) so you don't even need to book holiday. Just make sure you're still in target on your final week, or you'll come back to a bunch of outstanding fees!

Shala, I haven't enjoyed the magazine so far this year. I have a few years worth that I went through recently and found they're just rehashing a lot of the same recipes. I got it free from being on social but now that I don't do that, I probably won't bother buying it.

maman, thank you for the good wishes and commiserations. Actually it's not too bad, being well beaten. I think it would have been more of a disappointment if we'd got close. We just have to remember we finished 2nd top. Kilmarnock had a lap of honour after the game - and they had finished 2nd bottom! Grandson was heartbroken, sobbing for ages, though. I remember being relegated once and his mum was in a similar state. Oh well it was a lovely day and I've caught the sun, so that's a positive. Roll on next season.

And now that I've just munched through a whole lot of rubbish, I'll get back on SW bus tomorrow (not tonight as I think I need more sugar).

Love to all and special "Hi" to frogga,

Hi all - I'm still here, reading but not posting much.

Shala - I'm with you re the magazine, several of the recipes have been featured elsewhere and the others aren't very inspiring. DH picked out the pork and apple burgers so we might give them a go but I'm not a big fan of burgers. We tried the beef stir fry - it was okay, I don't think we'll be doing it again. I'm doing the taco jackets recipe (from last months magazine) again tomorrow but I'm going to do it with butternut squash instead of JP like you.

I've decided to give up going to group, I'm not finding staying to class very inspiring. The consultant never talks about the plan in any detail, she's never mentioned EESP, and there's lots of information on display boards that's out of date - green and red plans, success express... Is that still a SW thing? The Facebook page never changes even though she promised to put some information on there about something a few weeks ago. The consultant is obviously popular, she runs 5 or 6 groups, but I don't feel like she's made any real effort to include me, she has my mobile and email but hasn't used them. Then there's the cost - it's a 25 minute drive each way and if I don't manage to find a free parking space it costs £2 to park so that's the best part of a tenner I could save.

I will need to stay focussed some other way, so I give you all permission to nag me here or on other sites!

Welcome back returners, welcome to the newcomers, well done to all the losers and hugs to anyone struggling.

Another not been inspired by this month's magazine, glad I get it free as a social team member would have begrudged the money if I'd had to pay for it.

LL is there not another group in the area you could try which is run by a different consultant? Your current one doesn't seem to be very good. Our Facebook page is quite a lively one with lots of people posting and commenting.

Had a sneaky peak at the scales this morning and it looks as though it's a STS - I'm OK with that after my off plan Thursday!

    Today's plan is EE:

B - porridge made with water; grapes & strawberries
    L - bacon & mushroom omelette
    D - Goan fish curry/rice - from the Mar/Apr mag.

HEA - milk in tea as usual
    HEB - porridge
Syns - 50 ml light coconut milk 2.5.

Hugs to you Belsyboop, hope you are ok.
Welcome back Topgirl, good to see you.
We’re both in the same place Candyapple, trying to get back into our 12s! Well I can’t even get mine on at the minute so u are slightly ahead !:o
Ha ha Topgirl, loving the new additions! Especially Kieth lol :D:D
I'm never inspired by the magazine, I always just flick through and that's about the height of it, so I will save myself the £2 this time.:)
So my man friend is gone.:( Pity but I will get over it. He forgot to say happy birthday and when I pulled him about it he said he had other things on his mind as he was at a hospital appointment and then wouldn't tell me what it was for. I suspect possibly something to do with his weight, as he is a very big man and getting treating for high blood pressure last year. All I got was private sorry. Which I thought was extremely rude and hurtful when I was genuinely concerned. Then I was told to just forget he ever mentioned it. How can I? !
So that got me thinking about how much I confide in him and how it is a one sided friendship if he can't even tell me why he is at the hospital.
What is the point of telling me he was there at all.
So yeah that's that done : ( A pity but I need more than that.
