Hugs from me too Beanie. Not a very WW friendly day for me as it's Mr SA's birthday and we have been out for lunch. He wanted to go to a posh burger place and I had a vegetarian option but don't even want to think about the points! Should be WW weigh in night tonight but won't be going to the meeting so the first weigh in of next Friday is ideal for me - will give me a week to get back on track. This extra support is brilliant for me as I've now got two places to account to - here and WW meetings!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Today has been a fast day.
I have had just under 550 calories - this was 4 cups of coffee made with soya milk throughout the day and for tea I did a vegetable curry which I had with some lambs lettuce.
Hope everyone has got on ok today?0 -

Hello! I'd like to join in, please.
Beanie, by the way - I'm with the rest of the crowd, you can't run with an organised eating plan, even if its self organised, when you attend a funeral. Between the one-off situation, and your own feelings - it wouldn't be fair to yourself. Hope you managed to sleep, cos thats important too.
I'm at just over 11 stone right now - I'm still fitting into my ordinary size 12 clothes, but its a bit of a struggle! And there's a wedding I've been on about endlessly, at the end of May, when I'd like my waist to be a bit less than it is now, so that I can breathe for the *whole* day.
I have Chronic Fatigue, so there's not much chance of doing extra exercise. So the way I'll work between now and then is:
- cutting down on carbs.
- not eating after 9pm.
- eating more veg.
I can't even weigh myself, as I don't have any scales :rotfl: but the effort, or lack of it, of getting into my jeans will be indication enough as the day approaches.
Good luck everyone!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Karmacat you have made a good point there about feeling good in your clothes, it's a pretty good indicator as it's where you really do start to notice a difference.
My scales are well dodgy, I can gain or lose 2lbs just for moving them around the bathroom floor
Tuesday there is a local WW meeting (not my usual one which I can no longer get to because of my stupid timetable at work). Think I will go and get weighed there for a more accurate reading."These things take time but I know that I'm the most inept that ever stepped"0 -
Hi
Can I join? I need to lose about 5 stone to be "healthy" but am aiming for a stone by end of July. I joined SW 2 weeks ago (did it as MSE as possible, free membership and bought a 12 week countdown to get 2 weeks free), have lost 3lbs so far...
I can't say the group thing is really for me, I feel like I'd be better saying "hi, my name is TSG and I'm overweight" rather than the "and why do you think that happened..?"Mortgage £126746 DEC14 £122423.53 DEC15 £115041.70 DEC16 Remortgaged Sep17 to pay off HtB loan £150000 - £140500 JUL19 Moved house Oct19 £230000 £230400 DEC200 -
