How about you tell them it's none of their business and you feel harassed and if they continue to pry, harrass and intimidate you, you will take it up with your management as it is affecting your work life!
Its really no ones business who you go on holiday with or what you choose to do on your annual leave!!
I think this is one of the best replies on the thread so far.

I take it you have never worked in an office?0 -
At the end of the day who you go on holiday with, where you go and what you did when you get there has no bearing on your ability to do your job properly so its none of their business. I dont tell anyone I work with what I do with my spare time or where I go on holiday. Nothing to do with them.0

Also this issue is purely because one of the people involved is a lesbian and one is straight happily married. If there had been two happily married straight women going on holiday together no one would have batted an eyelid. Sounds like a hate crime to me. Gossip has started and you could have handled it better but try and ignore them. Also try and get your husband to meet you from work etc to show them their gossip isnt true.0

Only from 1975 to 2010, different offices, different sized companies.
some folks were OK, some kept themselves to themselves (like me), and some wanted to know everything about everyone, and tended to get annoyed or make up stories when they didn't get what they wanted.0 -
OP - you've done nothing wrong. A lot of the people on here sound just as bad as your stupid colleagues.
Start reporting the harassment to your bosses.0 -
Just tell 'em to ???? off and grow up...0

Thanks for all the help and kind words - hoping this situation will be resolved ASAP.
