How about you tell them it's none of their business and you feel harassed and if they continue to pry, harrass and intimidate you, you will take it up with your management as it is affecting your work life!
Its really no ones business who you go on holiday with or what you choose to do on your annual leave!!0 -
hold on... did you go on holiday WITHOUT your husband but with this colleague?
Does your husband know you went on holiday with this person if he didnt go with you?0 -

Oh for heavens sake. So the friend is a lesbian. So what. Doesn't mean she's going to jump on every woman who crosses her path.
I'm fairly sure the OPs husband has probably noticed she wasn't around for a week. She went on holiday with a friend - big deal, I do that regularly and shock horror some of them have husbands who've stayed behind. Some people just need to get a life and stop worrying about what other people are or aren't doing.
And breathe. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -

Pretty unobservant husband if he didn't notice she was gone.
Is there some rule that married women aren't allowed to go on holiday without their husbands ?I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
MSE Florida wedding .....no problem0 -
I didnt ask if he was aware of her being on holiday, i asked if he was aware of who she went with, relates to the statement that was made about the gossip getting back to the husband. if he knows she went on holiday with this person, it wouldnt be an issue.
im going against what id normally do responding to a bandwagon episode where people unite and say the same thing over a quote they failed to comprehend.
Anywho, my interest in in the OP' response rather than the bandwagon special team (with all due respect of course)0
