Club Lloyds accounts

My wife and I have a joint Club Lloyds account. She would like to open an individual account as well to take advantage of the interest. However, when logged on online, only the Classic account comes up as on offer. Does anyone know if this means that she would not get a Club Lloyds account? Or does she have to open a Classic account and then 'upgrade' it to Club?

If I remember correctly, I opened a current account, then had to upgrade it to club lloyds.
I could be wrong tho, it was a while ago.0 -
On the left hand side, when she is logged in, there should be a selection of products, club lloyds should be the third option down - when you click on the '+' sign it should offer you to open or upgrade to club lloyds.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Budgeting & Bank Accounts, Credit Cards, Credit File & Ratings and Energy boards. You can also upgrade the account by clicking More Actions and Upgrade Account. It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0

I don't think that you can open a Club Lloyds account online if you already have one in your name (either joint or sole). You will have to open a Classic account and then visit a branch or phone to upgrade to Club.0
