Ok, the fertilityfriend thought that I ov-ed on day 8, after which my temp started rising, but after I entered my temp today, which was another decent jump, it moved it to day 14!!!! Good thing, as we BD-ed on both day 12 & 13....Just hope it works this time!!!!! (Oh, it is day 17 today...)

lizziebell, I checked my BBT diary that I got from Coots and you can enter you temperature in there from 35.35 Celsius (95.6 Fahrenheit).

P.S. Ov on Day 14 would be fantastic - as over the last months I usually ov-ed around day 17-18, and still have 28 day cycle. could it be because last month I was taking the pregnacare conception tablets, not the standard ones  If it is so - I am going to fork out and buy more of them. They are just so expensive!!!! It is something like £10 for 30 tablets, when normal ones cost £12.95 for 90 tablets!!!! But, if it helps - I am going to stock up!!!

So the absolute stupidest thing happened this morning. It's CD 32 and I've had the worst nausea and heartburn all day yesterday and it was so bad it woke me at 6 this morning, so I decided to take a test. I have the strip tests from ebay and after the 5 minutes were up I looked at the strip and it had the very, very faintest of lines.

There was definitely some sort of line, when I got the 2 BFNs last week there was absolutely nothing. Not even the slightest hint of a line. This morning there was something but it really was so faint, almost a shadow of a line. I still had the little cup of pee, so I did another test with it and the 2nd test was identical. A very, very faint line. I'm very confused. I'm also very, very nauseous.

Ooooo, I feel some good news coming!!!!! They say - however faint the line is, if it is there, you got it!!!! Do another test tomorrow and you maybe able to see a stronger line. Good luck!!!!

  • GracieP it sounds to me like you might be pg! When I tested at CD31 (twice) I only had very faint lines and a couple of days later, when I saw my gynaecologist, she did another test and said that it was definitely positive, but very weak. I think that it must be that hcg levels can still be quite low at the early stage.

Maybe you could get a more sensitive test (if you're not feeling too sick, that is) or wait a few days :p and test again?

    Good luck!

Cheers ginvzt, I will see if I can find some that have the lower scale on them seeing as I might not be an abnormal cold zombie ;)

I can't help but be massively excited. I'm trying to put it out of my mind, but every so often I feel overwhelmed by giddiness. My DH is terrified I'm setting us up for a huge fall.

I'm going to go to Boots later and maybe get a digital test. In my head I think it will be best if I wait til Saturday morning to do it. Give my body a chance to double it's hcg levels, so I'll get a clearer answer. And whatever the answer it will be better to get it on a Saturday so I can either spend the weekend celebrating with my DH or commiserating.

You could always 'create' a sheet using excel, that would give you any scale you want and then just print off them. In the end it is just a square grid....

Just think positive!!!! I hope it is trully positive result, as we do have a lack of BFPs here!!!! Oh, and I know how I would celebrate if I got BFP... I think all the mothercares within 30 mile radius would be visited as would be toys'r'us, and biggest Boots.... We do need to get an idea of costs, don't we? (Well, I do have one, but I just want to go around and see all the cute things...) (I think I need something like Trafford centre, but just for mums to be and new mums!!!!)

    Hi GracieP

How exciting :D If you have any sort of line (going in the right direction usually vertical depending on particular test used) no matter how faint then you are most likely pregnant (not sure what tests you have from ebay but I know the tesco's own brand test is a very sensitive one and you can buy in a two pack which is handy)
You could wait till Saturday but by tomorrow morning the line should be darker as the pregnancy hormone increases very quickly at this stage.

With my last pregnancy I took a test (Tescos) about 3 days before my period was due and the line was so faint it was almost invisible but took another test the following day (still before period even due) and it was visibly darker.
Good luck got everything crossed for you x
