    Congrats, scarborough, xred, and sparkle!!

And I just want to say SNAP! -- the CD32 and CD35 tests I took were both BFPs and the doc said it's probably a go but took a test anyway, so I'm due 15 April! :j

    Congratulations!

Oh, no beers for you. I'll have one instead ;)

Ok girls........having a bit of a confusing time right now and just need to get this off my chest.

This is hubby and I first month of TTC, we have both been very excited and are just having lots of fun (if you know what I mean!) However, after a real relaxing weekend of lots of 'us' time Im suddenly freaking out! Im not sure if this is a sign that maybe Im not really ready.

Was lying in bed last night and suddenly realised that if we are successful in the TTC quest our whole lives will change. There will be no more lying in bed until lunch time..........no more just suiting ourselves. Is it normal to feel like this? Is this somehow my head telling me that maybe Im not ready? Maybe we should leave it a while?

Yes I'm sure it is normal, and thank goodness you're being realistic, Linz! If you're worried, then ease off for a little while for you to get your head around it a little better, but personally, I'm glad you're having these thoughts. If any of here haven't realised that having a baby isn't going to be all fun and games then we shouldn't be trying!

Awww thanks jiblets. You have made me feel sooooooo much better. I think we have decided to see what happens. No pressure, if it happens it happens if it doesnt well we will worry about that some other time! lol

Its very hard to explain because part of me wants a baby more than anything but then another part loves it being just DH and I. Guess its just maybe the realisation that if it does happen things will definately change!

I totally know where you are coming from.
Hubby and I have been trying for 4 years with 2 mc's. Currently I'm losing weight to go on the IVF waiting list (if it doesn't happen naturally whilst we are waiting) and I still get times like this! :D

If we have had a particularly nice weekend together I say to him...."Are we sure we want to bring another person into this relationship who is going to put a stop these me & you times?" :rotfl:

But then other times I crave a baby so bad.
:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:
  • Hi to all those TTC, and congrats to all the BFPs! OH & i are torn wether to have another or not, i want another so badly we already have a 5 year old daughter, and sometimes i think but we've got a great life, we can get weekends away together, always get nights out together and have plenty of QT with each other and daughter, i think if we have another our lives would be on hold for a few years but then again i want one soooooooo badly and so does OH. Then the sensible head comes on and thinks right we haven't even bought a house yet or anything we can't have a baby etc etc arggghh lol
    Winging life....

    Girls

Your posts have kinda made me think that maybe what we are all feeling is completely normal. Maybe its just a case of fear of the unknown??

Am trying to reason with some of the crazy thoughts in my head to think that in order to want a baby we all must be in (in our own opinions) an ideal or happy place in our lives, and obviously not knowing how or what things will be like when we all get our BFP's must strike a cord of fear within all of us.

Any ladies out there who felt exactly this way who can comment post BFP?!
