Be careful! As I'm sure you know, it can be dodgy to come straight off anti depressants (not that I know anything about yours specifically). I know that my mother has been coming off hers for a month or two under the direction of the doctor, sometimes it's best to be patient and get it done in a way that won't do you any harm...

    Good luck with it.:j

I know it can be dangerous, but I feel fine, I'm going to see my dr on Monday anyway. My dad came off his straight away a couple of years back (same type as mine) and he was fine too

I have PCOS as well, I've been trying for nearly 3 years now. I've been through all the ups and downs along the way, I don't think there;s much more for me to go through lol

OMG. 3 years. Thats terrible. I'm getting upset every month now and it's only been 6 months. I'm gonna have to toughen up a bit I think.

    Good Luck to you.

Now I said I wouldn't obsess over dates and that I'd just let nature take its course, but I couldn't help it. This cycle was 31 days so I tapped in my details to a ovulation calculator and according to that I will be most fertile between 10-15 July...

My birthday is 14th July, his is 15th! Ooooh, imagine - a birthday baby!

Yeh, it does get hard sometimes, I'm trying to lose weight, they won't really be able to treat me with anything till I have, as the treatments are dangerous to overweight women. It just gets me down because it's twice as hard to lose weight when you have PCOS. I'm taking Metformin at the moment to try and sort the insulin levels out in my body. It also aids in losing weight and regulates your period. Before I was taking this my AF was all over the place, it used to be anything from 3 weeks to a yea in between. Since taking metformin they have regulated to around 2 months in between which is really good for me.
If you aren't taking anything for it at the moment I suggest going to your doctor and asking about being reffered to a fertility specialist or asking to be put on Metformin as this is usually the first thing you will be prescribed anyway.
I don't see my fertility specialist anymore as everytime I went in he would just send me away again and tell me to lose weight. So my OH and I decided to wait until I've lost some more weight before going back there. I've lost just over a stone and a half so far. It also helps when you have a great OH to support you like mine :)

Hello all! It's my first time to post since I've been away on holiday. Well despite an ankle injury OH and I managed some BD. AF arrived on Thur,oh joy! LOL. Still, it means that my cycle is now back to 25 days, which was what it used to be before I had a coil inserted, so am hoping that the rest of the coil hormones get lost out of my system now, hehe.
Well despite AF arriving,it hasn't stopped us BD'ing, (sorry if TMI).....as still want that BFP.
How's Kathy72? She was due on same time-ish as me, just wondered how her testing went?
Any BFP's for anyone since I went away (a week ago)?

Just want to give you all some hope.

I've been trying to conceive for nearly 6 years - been on fertility drugs, had IUIs and IVF. Been so depressed that I did not want to live. I managed to persuade my hubby for one more go of IVF (he was very reluctant as he found the pressure too much) and if that did not work then enough was enough. We booked a once in a lifetime holiday to Tuscany and were planning the IVF on our return. I was so excited about the holiday and had lost a stone going to Weight Watchers the last thing on my mind was getting pregnant. So imagine my surprise when a home pregnancy test showed a POSITIVE 9 weeks before we were due to fly !!!!!!!!!! OMG I'm now 14 weeks pregnant and the baby is due on Christmas Day - we are both so happy

Wanting a baby is the most natural thing in the world and when it doesn't happen it can cause terrible anxiety, frustration and depression. People constantly asking when you are going to have a baby; people who don't want babies getting pregnant doesn't help either.

I truly believe that focusing on something other than babies helped me to get pregnant - I always believed it would happen at some point but I'm now 38 so was beginning to think my chances were slipping away and had started to come to terms with the fact that it would never happen. At the end of the day I still wanted a marriage even if I didn't have a baby.

I'm already planning baby number 2 - but haven't told hubby yet :D:D:D:D

    Take care everyone

Lots of love and babydust to you all
