Experian charges

Options
I have recently been turned down for credit, and don't know why.
I was told that my Experian report was looked at.
I wanted to get a copy, but on the Experian site, the £2 report doesn't give a credit score.
However, there is a free report if you sign up for the fee of £14.99, which you can cancel within 30 days, unless ....
If you are like me and have used the paid Experian service before, you have to pay £14.99 immediately.
How can this be right?
I want to see my full report, but don't want to pay £14.99 for it.
Has anyone else had this problem please?

Just pay £2 for the report. You don't need the score as it's meaningless.

However, we can issue you a score here, if you really need one.

This could be for any number of reasons which may include, time at address, whether or not on ER, income, available credit, credit used ratio etc etc

This may be true but they would never have looked at your score, any lender will create their own internal score.

Why do you want with your score?
What are you going to do with it?

Then order the £2 report, also use Noddle and Clearscore FREE to access your Call Credit and Equifax reports free.
Checking all three is always best to ensure nothing inaccurate on any of them.

What do you need your score for ?

The score is only as useful as a pack of biscuits.

You need a copy of your report, forget the score as lenders don't see it.

The reason I wanted the full report was because I was told that my Experian Credit report had been looked at.
Also, if they have looked only at the Experian report, it is pointless getting one from another company, as they may not recognise a report from elsewhere.
The reason I want to see a full report is because something is obviously wrong, and I need to put it right, or at the very least put notes on the report.
I'm on the ER, have been for the past 40 years, have not moved in 25 years and never miss payments, so something somewhere is amiss.

The score may only be as useful as a pack of biscuits, but it is obviously biscuits being dunked in tea for me to have credit rejected

So look at the report. You don't need the score. They're fictional.
"Facism arrives as your friend. It will restore your honour, make you feel proud, protect your house, give you a job, clean up the neighbourhood, remind you of how great you once were, clear out the venal and the corrupt, remove anything you feel is unlike you... [it] doesn't walk in saying, "our programme means militias, mass imprisonments, transportations, war and persecution."

zx81, you say you can show me my score, but is this an Exoerian score, as all companies use their own method of scoring, and really, I went to look at where the problems are

Gaz83, this is what I am saying, the details I want are no longer on the £2 Experian report

But they are CRA biscuits attempting to be dunked in a lender's tea.

You should never try to dunk your biscuits in someone else's tea.

The £2 report will tell you what you need to know - your credit history.

Lenders will then interpret that data as they see fit.
