I have had a charge for £19.90 leave my account.
The bank told me its a payday loan or credit reference agency but I have no idea who as I don't have a payday loan and haven't applied for one.
Can anyone shed any light in who they are please.
Thanks

Nothing came up on Google for the web listing you have wrote here, The bank statement will show the correct name and then you need to speak to the Company concerned about a refund.
  • It just says wc*shopping, club.uk. com I'm really annoyed as I don't know how to find out who they are and as a single mother with a disabled child every penny counts.

If it's a direct debit you can just get it reversed?

Or if it's a card payment, dispute it.

Given how often this seems to happen, and the size of their profits, its shameful that banks are not more helpful.

They don't sound like a credit agency/reference provider - so maybe this is one for a more appropriate forum?

Is this anything that rings a bell.

Seems like they process payments for certain companies.

Have you bought anything online for the amount?

It says this on their website
Some of the big names in this list include Google India, PolicyBazaar, Rediff.com, Indiatimes, Akbar Travels, 100bestbuy, PayTM etc.

  • Hi All, there is also a company called Budget Wise on 0345 565 0945. I spoke to them yesterday and got a gentleman call Dudley Newton. I also had payments taken from Shopping Club today and called to cancel my account using the 0345 565 0944 number provided here. Funny enough I spoke to another guy called Dudley Newton who denied any knowledge of BudgetWise...what are the odds!

Double check just what you've signed up for in the past few weeks - there is no such thing as a free lunch remember that.

Any free trials for services that you forgot to cancel before the 30 days?

    Anything ring any bells?

Nobody can just take money unless you have provided bank details, it would be like looking for a needle in a haystack.
