Girls out to school/nursery.. DS3 away until Friday so my head is placed quite neatly up my derriere until he is home.. his cat is distraught so I'm trying to deal with him too!!

DS3's bedding washed to death and just needs hanging out but I need a cuppa first.. I am so thirsty it is driving me crazy! The problem is I don't drink water or squash and we have nothing else in.. I may be sending OH to shop when he gets home... He has a load of washing to hang out.. a whole 6 items!

Pixie whining because she can't go to school or nursery today.. she really misses her big sisters.


dumped some recycling outside.

Today I am clearing as much of the kitchen as possible and then peeing OH off by painting it.. I've been aiming to get that done since November.. this week is the week!! I am also going to redo some of the hallway.. the walls have been catted so it looks messy.. I hate messy!

Before I can do that I need to whizz through a small list..

Sort cardigan order
retrieve dog coat to finish.. the sooner they are done the better!
sort cardigans to sew up and which buttons are going on which!
Finish knitting hat which is languishing on my bedside table unfinished!

My next big training mission .. learning to crochet flowers.. I cannot crochet to save my life but knitting flowers takes forever.. I want to put some on Dots dress and on the hat sets I've knitted to sell.

strip the bedding and get it washed.. air the duvet
Mattress vacuumed turned vacuumed other side and redress bed
Deal with the floordrobe
Wash the windows
Vacuum floors

Wipe hand rails on stairs

Morning all

Hugs, sticks, spoons & vibes to all!

Last night I cleaned the kitchen, sort of. I put stuff away and washed up then a quick S&S I also tided away as much of my work stuff as possible while washing/drying my bedding including my quilt. I don't seem to be getting anywhere fast this week.

DD brought a letter home from school about an "Introduction to Philosophy" course she's taking part in one night a week after school. The last one she did was Ancient civilisations and created some interesting conversations, this one I expect will cause me headaches as well :rotfl: It means that when choir practice & the charity club starts up again, for the next 10 weeks she's going to be getting home late every night except Wednesdays so I'm hardly going to see her and when I do I'll probably be nagging her about getting her homework done

Today I've overslept, put a wash load on then fed myself and Zack. I NEED to do some ironing this morning, pay bills and then play catch up with work. I'm delivering to my customers tonight, which may prove interesting as its the local derby so if I can't get done by 8pm I'm going to have compete with sky sp0rts and the blokes of the household to be heard :rotfl: Books will have to wait until Friday, there is no way I can get everything else which needs to be done by tonight done and sort the books out properly and I'm busy for most of the day tomorrow so won't have time then either! My business growing was supposed to be a good thing, but everything is taking so much longer and its hard to fit it all in during the holidays

Phone VIP line for petshop and get my account unlocked :mad:

Okay its taken me 2 hours to get this post written due to interruptions and juggling washing (load 2 is now nearly done) so its finances, ironing for an hour so there's clothes for both of us then on with work. Looks like a working lunch for me! :wave:

I have no money (not even £1) left to pay day in 3 days time so I made some soup, a butterbean stew and some veggie burgers to put in the fridge. I also have eggs and baked beans so with the cooking done this morning I should make it through

I have washed up 3 times and cleaned the kitchen hob but off to do flylady tasks as dust balls are rolling around my bedroom :rotfl::rotfl:

Hurrah! Paid stuff done for the week
In other news, after all the sh*** about would they make me redundant or wouldn't they, they are now "investigating" my holiday entitlement. !!!!!!? It's not hard, just the annual entitlement divided by 52 weeks and times by 24 weeks. I can do it in exact days in my head. Computer says no! Wot-eva!

My dishwasher is sadly nearing the end of its time in this mortal coil. I've filled the salt and rinse, had it on a hot wash with soda crystals, investigated for blockages but it's still only cleaning half my stuff. It's odd, it will literally clean half a bowl to gleaming but the other half will be like it hasn't even got wet. The drawer pops open but the tablet doesn't dissolve. Yet it's hot enough to steam up my specs when I open it. Oh dear, lol.

So all I've done today is paid stuff, and washing up what was still dirty.

I'm going to feed the kids and drop them up the road at DS "boring" friend house lol, while I go to a meeting at school. I told DS "you need to stay friends with X today as you're going there tonight" he replied "it's ok mum I can stay friends if I don't play with him today, it's when I play with him that I don't like him" lol. At least he sees the funny side.

Right. Food! Ah it's so early and I just want to sit in the sun in the conservatory

Been busy today getting things done - in and out the house. Continuing the declutter - got rid of a shoebox worth of paper - letters from people I'm no longer in touch with and really I'll never read these things again. Before you think me unsentimental, I have another 5 boxes!

Absolutely lovely day here. Managed to change our duvet cover, which was a great relief to DH as I normally manage to strip it and not not remake it!

DD2 popped over for a couple of hours, which was lovely.

Otherwise I managed to stack the dishwasher and clear the kitchen up a bit.

Have an invitation to go out to lunch tomorrow, if I am up to it. We will see how I feel in the morning.

Still struggling with my toothache. I think someone on here said that their OH has a shield to stop them grinding their teeth at night. I may have to invest in one as it is now achingi On both sides. The dentist has said there is nothing wrong so he can't do anything. But I'm not sure how much longer I can put up with this pain!!!
Anyway in the flying front.....

Glad you feeling a bit better CY and hope you get to your lunch the morrow.

I have managed to do everything relevant so far this week - just need to wash the kitchen and bathroom floors.

I still have some ironing to do from returning from holiday, but still not comfortable enough to face that yet. However, there isn't anything urgent in there and it is tucked away neatly in the spare room. I will get to it soon - promise

I am quite pleased that I am managing to do my Spanish lessons every day atm and really feel I'm starting to make a little progress.

Really looking forward to the weather getting a little warmer here, as although it's bright and sunny this week it's still too cold to get out on the balcony. I want to finish emptying all the boxes, refill with compost (already bought) and get some plants in as soon as possible.
