I have cleaned the oven, it is now all sparkly.

Off to the tip again, then buy petrol, and have a wander around local garden centre

DW x 1 WM X1, now on line. Ironed this morning so none to do, the washing is towels.

Been shopping for a dress to wear at a wedding because, apparently, I can't wear the dress I wore to the last one even though no-one, other than parents and sisters, has seen it before.

I would wear it just because they said I couldnt!

Done nothing.. and it seems to be staying that way!

I was thinking the exact same thing.

I begrudged buying a new dress for my own wedding, let alone for someone else's! :rotfl:

Mr LW has done well on the Flying - he's done all the usual weekend tasks, even had a go at de-limescaling the loo (I blitzed it with actual descaling liquid a couple of weeks back, and he's doing his best to keep it done using vinegar, bless him).:A

Walked and fed Alfie at sparrow-fart, then hit the bath, and Mr LW helped me wash my hair.

Alfie's going home tomorrow, so I've put together a montage of some of the photos we've taken, for him to take with him, as an extra on top of his "official" holiday picture. It'll be the last time we see him, as his owners are moving out of the area.

I need to make a veggie toad-in-the-hole for tonight's dins; and I have some rhubarb to turn into a crumble. :drool:

It easier to go with the flow rather than get continually nagged :rotfl: I hate clothes shopping. No that's not strictly true, what I hate is trying stuff on so I tend to stick with tried and trusted stuff which generates complaints from mater.

Valli, wear the current dress and dress it with a different scarf or hand bag, far more MSE than buying a new one IMO.
I worn the same dress to SS1 and my great nieces's weddings 2 years apart, my exSIL did say some thing, I just commeneted that if folk has nothing better to do at a wedding than worry about me, then it was a poor wedding, she soon shut up......and then started on the bridesmaid's dresses, as one of them has a crease where she had been sitting down!........

Found eby sale, was panicking as I thought I had lost it.

No flying today. I have officially taken the day off. And we are having a takeaway curry. So there!

(Back to the diet and mad flying tomorrow I promise!)

I will update the Mr T delivery I have booked for Tuesday. I also need to bake for tomorrow night, but I'll have to fit that in around yoga tomorrow. Oooh, and I need to throw a chicken quinoa butternut squash thing in the slow cooker overnight.

There goes my night off.

Taken DS to footie, easy tea, dog walked, bit of tidying done here and there. Feel better for not doing much.
