Mine did that when I got some cheap (PC W0rld's own) cartridge. Twice. Took it back to the shop and they agreed their colour cartridges were...........not good.

Want to achieve a great deal today as the house looks like a bomb site and it's mainly mine as it was tidy when I got back from my hol.
So far I've been to the doctor who thinks my shoulder injury is a torn cuff rotator - which is what the dance teachers on holiday thought. He's referred me for an ultrasound, but in the meantime suggested I take up on the quick booking and subsidised physio I can get via my gym. If the physio thinks it best to get the ultrasound done asap, there is a good hospital near which I could pay for if I want to. Physio may be able to sort it, or it may need keyhole surgery. I've rung physio - of course it is a central number and busy, so left a message for them to ring me back as the brochure says they can usually arrange an appointment within 24hrs. Of course since then I've had 2 other phone calls blocking the line.

Now trying to do some paperwork so I'm poised by the phone and computer (for diary) when they ring back. But really want to be blitzing the kitchen.

    Hugs to CY

I'm sitting here feeling a little stunned.

Yesterday two electricians came round to do testing and tracking to prepare a report for the insurance claim. It looks like most of the the work done previously in the house by owners was an utter shambles...they discovered live bare wires, an illegally wired fuse box, dangerous connections and random sockets that had been boarded over  The dodgy stuff has been sorted and made safe, but the lads have indicated there could be £10K worth of work needed to sort things out! The flooding has damaged a lot of sockets and wiring downstairs, but as building regs have changed, they aren't able to just replace the damaged stuff, without upgrading to meet current legislation, so I'll be waiting anxiously to see how much the insurers are prepared to pay towards this...

    CY infection-begone vibes.

Piggers I hope Dot's poor head is ok.

Dizzy Imp OMG:eek: At least it's been discovered and made safe. I hope the insurance will come up with the money.

    Goodness, hope they pay up.

I am beginning to catch up:
    - got through to physio, got an appt for today and have been. She was quite optimistic; thinks either a partial tear in the tendon and/or a strain, with some compensatory muscle tension in the neck and general shoulder area. She said don't need to spend money on private scan, and it should respond to my doing the exercises she has set plus a few sessions with her. Bad news is that she says they are painful but effective. Awarded myself a large C0sta and a Bounty on the way home (what am I, 5?). I'm allowed to continue zumba but must stay off aerobic or weight-type classes for a while. Dreadful full length mirror in her room; worse than clothes shop mirrors :(

    - Had good tidy in kitchen, threw away/sorted piles of circulars, post, 'to do' bills etc.
    - Wiped down all surfaces
    - Washed up
    - Kondoed and put away 2 baskets of clean washing.
    - Put holiday items to be handwashed in one basket as weather naff so won't do them yet.
    - All luggage now emptied, debris shaken out of window and bags put away.
    - Read elec and gas meters, about to log them on line
    - tickets ordered to see Strictly dancer Pasha and his new show locally at the end of May. Mr N said he would come! And has offered to come to ballroom/Latin dance classes with me when my shoulder is better :T
    - Have made progress with a report so will continue now.
