A few weeks ago I realised that I didn't need to do the shop I had planned for the 30th as we are going to stay with family then for a while. I adjusted my total budget to £160 but forgot to mention it!

Spent £1.99 yesterday, total spend is now £110.83, so I have £49.17 left. Hoping to do one big shop on Wednesday to last until the end of the month.

Hope your freezer's ok now Cloughie - sorry about the food you've lost though, it doesn't help the budget eh. I know how gutted I was when mine packed up - loads of stuff chucked

Seems to be working, thanks. Must have been the plug :o

It's annoying isn't it. Happened about three years ago with my chest freezer and it was a fair bit of food - nearer £30-£40 lost.

Question - today I spent £13.52 but I used the money i'd previously put on my Iceland Bonus card - does this count towards my budget? :D

Personally I would count it. If you hadn't used the card then you would have used your budget. Bit the same as deducting MOCs or vouchers but in reverse IYSWIM as it's money you've saved spending HTH

    Managed another NSD today :j

Hope you all enjoying the weather and making the most of all the 'in season' cheaper fruit and veggies ;)

Hi everyone :hello: I've been away so completely behind on all your posts but hope everyone is on track so far :D

I have £42.35 left of my budget after spending £39.93 just before going away and on a shop since being back. That takes me to £77.65 for the month. With 2 weeks left I really think it is doable as long as we are sensible. I did use a £10 voucher but I'm also counting that in my spends too, so I don't skew my results. Catch up with you all later...

Two NSDs in a row! Made fruit bowl buns with GF flour, more bread and a chicken caesar salad to use up the chicken and old bread this evening. Doing all home baking instead of buying treats for the kids is keeping the spending right down.
