Hi everyone, back from my galavanting - Latitude Festival - such a beautiful place, very kiddie friendly too - I would highly recommend. OK, so did actually get my food included, but still managed to spend over £20 trying out different cuisines - have updated sig. My daughter made a lovely spicy (veggie) mince bean stew, which we had with black bean spaghetti (!!!) - it was so lovely and there was tons left, so gonna try and stretch it out for a couple of meals more for us. Tonight with wraps and salad - perhaps - maybe some spicy garlic wedges thrown in and maybe with jacket potatoes and salad for the next day. Anyway, I have £17(ish) in the budget 'till the end of the month and a packed larder and freezer, plus Sunday dinner is at family, so completely doable as long as I don't give in to temptation. Gonna write a list as need the discipline of coming in on budget.0

Personally I would count it. If you hadn't used the card then you would have used your budget. Bit the same as deducting MOCs or vouchers but in reverse IYSWIM as it's money you've saved spending HTH

Thanks.
Feared you would say that, but it's fair enough

£2.50 spent on cheese, also bought lots of crisps but these are solely for my boyfriend so they have come out of his disposable income and won't be counted on the budget.
£3.42 left. EEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKK!!!!
But basically anything under £40 over budget (which is what the last two months have been) would be an achievement.Debt Free Stage 1 - Completed 27/08/2020
